I always imagined Klaus being a guy in his mid thirties. So, think something like 35-37 years old. As for the other thing you mentioned, Jake will learn to be his own person - and he is learning - and it won't be easy for his brother to change that.
-
Love it that you loved it, lol! Klaus, at this point, is not even aware what he got himself into But, when he realizes that, it will be too late, lol!
-
Don't you worry your sensitive heart! I love happy ends and I don't see myself writing a story without one! As for shipping Hans and Jake, yeah, I can see it, lol! But Jake belongs to Klaus, and boy, he will make that known! As for the scenario with Klaus on one knee, you just have to read the entire story and find out! (No spoilers!)
-
Both have layers, that's for sure! His upbringing is one thing, but not the only thing that defines him. Thank you for your comment!
-
Ha-ha, no way! Happy endings are guaranteed with me!
-
It won't happen quite that way, he-he. But it's a good scenario. The crack Jett is talking about is something deeper. You'll know it at the right time
-
They used to be 'special' friends at one point, yes, but Klaus and Hans might have to leave it all behind with Jake in the room, lol!
-
They will take some time to get there, and that's all I'll be saying at this moment so that you can enjoy the story!
-
It's getting better, I promise (and hope)!
-
I hope you'll feel just the same once you reach the end!

Jett really did an oopsie this time, he-he ... April has all the right to be upset with him. More on Dan and Zane in the next chapter, which is up by now Thank you for your comment, Jasmine! -
Hey Jasmine! I'm glad to see you here! You're perfectly right about why Jett wanted to get rid of the body pillow. The way he sees it, April is here and he has a real chance with him, while Theo is just a memory.

Chapter Eighteen – No-Fun April Jett left the booze on the table and went to find Zane, mostly because he was still too pissed at April, but also because he wanted to throw that unwanted guest out of the house. He walked into the living room, to find Zane with one arm slung around Dan’s shoulders, and Dan with an almost terrified expression on his face. In one glance, he noticed Zane’s thigh next to Dan’s. Also, Dan was tapping the floor nervously with one foot. Maybe he would just let Zane

That could happen, but, I noticed, on several occasions, that kids could sleep through a lot of noise ... -

He is in good hands, and that's all I'm saying! As for getting involved ... I guess that goes without saying! -

Thank you for the 'no spoilers' thing, lol! If there is one thing that's guaranteed with me, that would be a happy end. It's all about the journey, as they say, and it's just a meandering path with a guide who doesn't always know what she's doing (introducing yours truly), but is, nonetheless, glad that people still hop on board! -

Now this is a long comment, so allow me to dissect it a little bit. April, at this point, doesn't think that contradicting Jett when he's a stubborn ass would be a good thing. After all, he has his education from home, which is pretty much 'live and let live', so he doesn't see why he would engage in an endless fight with Jett. Jett, on the one hand, is a bit of an ass, and he will need a bit of a wake-up call so that he can see the error of his ways. He's used to being in a permanent state of conflict, so April's no combat attitude might be something new to him. As for the scenarios you're imagining, I haven't thought about the continuation in these terms, but these are all valid points. Jett behaves recklessly, and that's part of who he is. Dan won't escape Zane's arms, though, so he won't be able to get to April and comfort him. Plus, April is already locked in the upstairs bedroom with Jay, so my mind didn't take me down this path. Nonetheless, I hope you'll like what will happen next. Jett didn't even think about the mining rig (and, truth be told, neither did I, lol). The Z brothers will be a looming presence throughout the story, so there will be more of them at the right moments. I can only thank you for being invested in my story like this, and I hope that you'll enjoy it just the same until its very end! -

Ah, since I missed this bit in my previous comment, here is my reaction! Yes, Zane likes unwrapping big gifts, lol! -

As I said to @droughtquake I think people who use computers - whether for play or work - can have a lot of fun, too. I know I've been to many parties with my geekish classmates, and while they weren't wild or anything like that, they were plenty of fun. Also, no one has ever puked over another person, which, apparently, was a bit of common occurrence during other parties held by, let's say, the less geekish population of our high school (due to too much drinking). Plus, when I was playing MOBA, I didn't think for one moment that the other people I was playing with were only taciturn people with glasses and no taste for parties. When someone can score a pentakill all by himself/herself, I don't know, it's pretty badass! -

Jett is the one describing him as a dweeb, so let's blame it totally on him. I don't know how much the others would call him that, seeing how he's very pretty to look at. As for the un-straightening part ... I just think he did nothing but show up! But, as Woody Allen would say - if I remember this correctly - being successful depends 80% on just showing up! Hence the victims (to his charms) April creates without lifting a finger, lol! -
We Are Not Party People!
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in We Are Not Party People!
Well, I was in the 'nerdy' class in high school, so to speak, and we had plenty of parties. Computers and playing over LAN weren't involved, though, but seeing how I live across the world from the US where nerd culture is an actual thing, I can't really use myself and my classmates as a measuring stick. As for socially inept ... I don't know. People into geek things just have a different way of entertaining themselves. -

Ha-ha-ha, I hope not! And don't forget Zane has his hands full with Dan! (you were talking about Jett, right?) -
Chapter Seventeen – We Are Not Party People! “So, what are your plans for the weekend? There’s a paaarty at that guy’s, Williamson, house!” Raj was yelling into his ear, putting way too much emphasis on the ‘a’ letter in ‘party’ which meant one of two things. That either Raj had a date, or second, he didn’t, and wanted to convince April to go, too, so that he wasn’t alone. April sighed and moved his phone from one ear to another. “I can’t, man. I have a baby to take care of.” “Ah, y

That's quite correct. Only April can decide when it's time to let go of his fears and it will take courage to do that. I hope you manage to solve your situation, though! (Without giving any advice, since I'm not qualified to do so)
