A much frightened April would become even more scared only listening to this scenario, he-he. But it does have its perks, like April revealing who he is ... but not yet! Yes, he's the one who's always up front about what he feels, so he won't hide from his dad. Of course, that will cause the proverbial fan people already talked about in the comments to spin even faster. The time is not yet for April to reveal everything; right now, everyone will pick a side, and you can imagine which sides those will be. In all this convoluted situation, April won't slip uncomfortable truths so easily. Carina will have to learn to be a better person, too, and I think you will like her more as the story continues! You can rest assured that a full-on battle is ahead, with Jett's dad at home! In my country, the people in the military might not be as strict as in the US, and I lived among them when I was little, but some can be pretty tough on their kids, hence my choice of profession for Jett's dad. But since I was a girl, I might not have seen just how tough a dad like that could be, lol! Boys seem to get the short end of the stick in the situation. You might get a mild version of a military man, as a result, in this particular story!
