  1. The poor guy, he looks so sad ... There might be secret powers hidden in Jett's hair ... let me think, no, actually no, there aren't! And also, le wild gifs have returned!
  2. And just when I thought Jett had a fan, lol! Yeah, you're right, he's a big bully. If you re-read the first phrase of the summary, that pretty much says it all about his troublesome personality, lol! Now, let's see how long can he hold to his man bun, while people around here prepare torches and sharpen their razors, lol! As for the hidden stuff, there's always that with me, without a doubt!
  3. Ah, ah, ah, are you trying to say that what's on Jett's head might be p ... No, I won't go there. But I saw a Gintama episode (it's a Japanese anime that's completely random and insane), where the main characters were trying to give the shogun a new haircut, and ended up placing a huge giant poop on his head! Sorry, it's just the image that came to my head! No go away - not you, the image! That said, aha, you're on to something ... not saying what ... and you'll just have to expect for the plot to unfold - while thickening ... I know it's not going to work, but hey, I have to try it! Why? I don't know! But really, thanks for the comment! As always, you make me laugh!
  4. Thank you! I'm glad to see you here again!
  5. I haven't though of him that way, as Carter came to me as a mix of people I knew who were very smart and very funny but in their very own particular ways. But you're not the first person to ask this question, so I believe it to be warranted. However, I can't say it either way, since I never knew if the people I'm talking about were in the spectrum - I hope that's the phrase used - and they weren't diagnosed (since we didn't even know the term 'autistic' at the time). Of course, Carter is an original character, regardless of the inspiration, and for some reason, walking in his shoes came natural to me. The connections and various mental verbalizations (ugh, really, Grammarly, verbalization doesn't exist?) Carter has the habit of letting his mind wander to are also something I do daily, most of the times as exercises for the brain, and also because I find them funny. Thank you for liking my story! I hope you will enjoy the others, too
  6. That's not a man bun, it's a wolf's tail, lol! (I don't remember the exact quote)
  7. Thanks a lot! Updates every Sunday! I promise!
  8. Love, love, love, to see you here again and talk to you! And as always, muchos besos, for all the kind words you have for me Hugs, dear godmom!
  9. Ah, finally, someone who actually likes Jett's hairstyle! He doesn't have the shaved type, but the kind made of long hair. I wouldn't know about the jealousy, hahaha, but on some guys this hairstyle looks actually pretty cute (and I'm thinking Sokka of the Water Tribe from Avatar: The Last Airbender for the half-shaved style). I won't shave him! But he might change his hairstyle ... not sure yet, there are plenty of other things he needs to change first, lol! Thank you for commenting and being on board with the story!
  10. Thanks! I can only hope you'll enjoy the rest, too. As for Wes, lol, that's a pretty funny picture!
  11. Hahaha, that must be! Thank you for loving the story! (What more could I ask for?)
  12. I can see someone is still missing Aidan and Heath ... Well, I know nobody can replace one's favorites! I can see already that Jett and April made quite the entrance! I can only hope the real men behind the man bun and the hippie name will make a different impression as the story progresses! Thanks for commenting!
  13. Hey, I gotta have all the basis covered! Who knows! But I'm seriously glad you noticed and appreciated that little joke inserted in the summary. Thanks!
  14. First things first, imagine that the reaction to this comment is somewhere between the 'love' emoji and the 'ha-ha' emoji. I will update on Sundays, like usual, so, if you ever decide to take a break, I will only be glad each time you will return to the story April's and Jett's past will come to light, little by little, as the story progress, and you will know everything about what happened between them in the past. I can only hope that it will be entertaining to guess what really transpired between them. And now, for the 'ha-ha' part of the comment, you have no idea how many names I tried for April until I named him April! It was like nothing was working! I was beginning to think of applying occult methods to come up with a name that sounded just right. And, of course, since inspiration has to be a fussy little thing, it came to me while cooking an omelet. Just like that! April the Fool just finally rang true to me! Thank you for joining me on this journey! Hugs!
  15. Ha-ha-ha, I feel like I should make some 'mea culpa'. Jett's hairstyle came to me in the form of an idea when suddenly, all the boys and young men on my street started sporting crazy top knots! Some have the style with the shaved bottom part, while others have man buns on top of their heads (minus the shaved part)! As for April, his name is pretty hippy, but he's more of a dork, if there were a good way to describe him, lol! Seeing that your hate for man buns is so fierce, but you're still here, reading, I can only thank you and hope that you'll grow to ignore the horrible man bun, lol! Also, when this story is over, I promise to give you Jett's bun - without the man attached to it - so that you can play your pyromaniac fantasies!
  16. Complete summary: Jett Huntsman has his business straight, which is to scare shmucks into paying back what’s due. And yeah, he’s making shit tons of money while at it. Mostly because he’s good at it. Not that he brags. What he’s not good at, though, is how to deal with seeing a crying baby left in front of his house with the self-explanatory message: “Assume responsibility, asshole!” Jett has no time to think things through. He has shmucks to shake for money. So his kid, if that’s h

    Chapter 2

Thank you, Will! For taking the time to read S&S and also to comment so consistently. This tale, as you said it, was my first here, so your sensibilities regarding grammar might be put to the test, just to give you a heads up.

    Epilogue

All is well when it ends well, right? Now that all is forgiven, all that remains for me to do is to address my deepest thanks, and to hope that you'll continue to read my stories (as frustrating as they might be)!
  20. No worries! And you're not the only one. It appears that I have a knack for confusing people with the names I choose for my characters. In Box Shaped Heart, a lot of people probably wondered about Aron with a single A. So feel free to blame it all on me, lol!
  21. I guess I did complicate the story quite a great deal toward its end. As for FDA, since you're asking, I'm of the opinion that companies will always push the guidelines and what is allowed to the very limit, just for more profit. Now, it's all assumptions on my part since I don't live in the US, but where I live, it's something common for products to be one thing - quality wise - when they are first launched, and for the quality to drop as they are no longer novelties. In particular, it happens to shampoos and detergents. How could that happen without altering the original recipe? All the answers will come as follows!
  22. I'm sorry you had to go through such an ordeal at a young age. I can't imagine how that would be, and when I lost someone close while in high school, it hurt so much that it can't be described. Men deserve hugs, too, and not only when something sad happens in their lives. So here is a hug from me. I know it's not much, but it's from the heart.

    High Five!

That is so great! A chapter in seven little lines! I have no idea why I'm using so many words to say so little, lol!

    High Five!

That's what I think, too. If someone casually says the words, they lose their meaning, but if they are kept hidden and revealed only by accident, that means that they are true and growing from a deeper layer of one's soul.
  25. Yes, I believe it is. There will be some truths told.
