  1. Don't make her start on a new story just yet. She has to start editing my stuff soon.
  2. I don't need a can of whoop ass. My throat punch aim is deadly.
  3. Honestly. I don't care if the idiot was traumatized or not. I put the safety of my residents first. We had a string of thefts a couple of weeks ago and I won't tolerate someone who doesn't belong here wandering around. Nor will I put up with some snot-nosed self-entitled bozo swearing at me or my staff.
  4. They're permanently ensconced in the Korner. No need to trespass them. They know their place.
  5. Um.....
  6. That would've work... but don 't forget.... she's on the west coast so those straight-laced Mormons are closer than the Amish. The Amish rock their local markets. They're my go-to for all things pie. Nothing beats an Amish bakery. There's one opening not far from me next month. I can't wait.
  7. It wasn’t a leather harness that Perry sported, but rather a pair of shorts, which had been hidden by the sweats. They were, well, short—and tight, like super-painted-on-hiding-nothing tight, I don't think Max stood a chance once Kyan set his eyes on this.
  8. Don't make me use it.
  9. What can I say... crystal ball was only off by a minute.
  10. Sorry .. Monday morning drama. Had to have some douchebag who was wandering around the park trespassed. He was swearing at me, the sheriff's deputies and my maintenance guys. Says he's visiting his grandmother who's been in the hospital last week. Then he changed it to aunt. 😒 🤔 Buh-bye

    Batch 44

Nice chapter... but one big mistake. Colleges play football on Saturdays. High school is Friday nights. TB for the win! I've seen firsthand someone put away as much food as Gavin. It was like watching a train wreck in progress... horrifying yet I couldn't look away. I'll message you later with some tips on cliffies. 😉

    Batch 44

Pfftt... you call that a cliffhanger? Amateur.
  14. I have to admit. I'm a little out of sorts tonight. My husband and I went to see Sound of Freedom. I can't say that I enjoyed the movie because of the subject matter. However, it was an excellent film. The sole purpose of the movie is to bring awareness to the atrocities of the world wide child sex trafficking epidemic. It's based on a true story of a Homeland Security agent and his dedication to not only bringing down those perpetuating the crime, but rescuing the children. I know y'all know my view on child predators. There is no punishment severe enough. This movie shines a spotlight on a subject too many people turn their heads to. It's hard to watch, but honestly it was done with sensitivity and didn't overdramatize anything. It's worth seeing despite being hard to watch.
  15. One day at a time is the best way to approach it. Take the wins where you can and know that the not-so-good days will get better. We're all sending lots of good, healing thoughts your way! I miss 40. Lol I swear, I take better care of my car when it breaks down. It's easier to find parts too. Which reminds me... I need to call the imaging center and make an appointment for an MRI for my hip. It's not screaming at me anymore, but it does whimper pathetically. I hope everyone has a good day!
  16. I'll probably have an easier time editing.
