  1. 🤮
  2. Y'all have no idea how often I nearly peed myself while writing this! The hardest part was picking teams. I honestly wish I had 10 on each, but I wanted to keep it as true to the original as possible. (At least @weinerdog can rest easy knowing he wasn’t the awkward, chunky kid picked last. Say it with me peeps.... Pee-noot butt-herr 🤣🤣)
  3. Funny how neither of you chose 'Signature' authors. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  4. Mags... the ONLY reason it was you who choked was because.... really, how many of these guys would 'fess up to choking? I'm so glad you're taking this so well. 😘
  5. If only she looked like Mrs. Potatohead, she'd be a shoo-in. Alas, I think Mr. Harvey is safe.
  6. Read it again, Raven. That was @Mrsgnomies threat. Ask her. I'll have Aaron order extra whiskey to make sure we have enough. A meet and greet would be a blast!
  7. The German Chocolate cake was Aaron's idea. You're right.... I want nothing to do with that nasty stuff. Ball dandruff if you ask me. Of course the Krew won. That should've been obvious from the get-go!
  8. Thank you for being such a good sport! I did warn you when I pm'd you that I'd be poking fun at you. More impressive than including so many names was the fact I was able to get everyone's permission. Out of the multitudes I asked, I only got one 'no'. I'm sure I missed a few and apologize. I tried to get in as many as I could. Aaron and I each picked our teams and I think we nailed it pretty well. I'm glad I got the charity right too.
  9. Only if you're quick
  10. Awww... thanks! It was a blast coming up with ideas and writing the chapters.
  11. It's possessed.
  12. Well it is part of the series title.
  13. Had to let her have at least one.
  14. Really? No comment. Just had to be #2

    Chapter 5 $print

impatient pup. I was in the middle of posting.
  16. A hush fell over the crowd as the warm-up man put his fingers to his lips, signaling the show was ready to begin. Lights dimmed, adding a quality of excitement to the building anticipation. As the first blasting notes of an orchestra of brass instruments sounded, enthusiastic clapping accompanied the peppy tune. From the right side of the set, a not-quite middle-aged woman bounded across the stage, hands over her head, encouraging the audience to clap louder. Her smile was dazzlingly brigh
  17. I would never. Wouldn't that make them Borg? Time to call in Picard.
  18. Zombie clumps, huh? Could be worse. Like a clump of Karens mindlessly clamoring for the manager. The dynamic between Wayne and Mark is evolving. It's interesting to try to analyze the mindset they have to be in to be taking their relationship in the direction it's going in. If the "Knox Event" didn't happen would they have eventually be drawn to each other? Same for if Mark's wife had survived? Obviously, their attraction is fueled by the seriousness of their situation. This is part of the reason I love this genre of stories. There are so many what ifs to play with. Oh..... and this: Instead of killing us with the "flu," we got a severe case of "faggot" instead. I giggled because I imagined substituting "idiot". My mind is weird. (Pipe down Krew) Another great chapter Wayne! 😘

The last installment is ready to go. Several warnings will be issued with this one.

    Chapter 63

Why did I snort-laugh so loud at Bellona's challenge? Will won't let Darius outshine him. His ego is too big. Great chapter. Love the dynamic between Carullo and JJ. John keeps JJ from being too big for his britches.

    Reader Rejection

This rings so true. I know I've had readers voice their opinions with negative comments several times. Especially early on in my writing journey. It was really impactful. I've had readers who have come right out and said they don't like my stories and have given up. Does it hurt? Of course. But I've discovered it's much better to take those negative comments and learn from them. Five years into this I still get criticizing remarks. Some even border on insulting, but I've learned to not take it to heart so much. Marvel movies..... as the mom of two boys, plus a Marvel-centric husband, I can count on one hand the number of non-Marvel movies I've seen in the past 10 years. Sigh. This one sentence you wrote stands out the most: Don’t ever sacrifice your voice for the sake of insecurity. Truth spoken. Thanks!
