Evil can most certainly be wrapped up in a beautiful exterior as evidenced by Huntington. I don't think he's capable of turning off his predatory instincts. San Francisco is going to be nail biting for our boys. 'Nuff said.

Well, I don't believe in God. Nor do I believe in being perfect, but neither do I like mistakes or incorrect spellings. It's a writer's due diligence to make sure their work is as close to perfect as it can be at least from a grammatical point of view. Content wise, it's all subjective. We all have our quirks... one of mine is wanting to post when I think the chapter is ready. It's savvy readers like yourself that makes me strive to be a better writer.

Nope... chapter was written on a laptop. Edited on a laptop. Edited and beta-ed on laptops (pretty sure), re-edited on a laptop and given two final read throughs on a laptop. This is why I don't schedule postings! I always find something as I do my final scan of each chapter. Even then things get missed. Oh well.

Kage isn't going to waltz in during the day. It's established that Huntington stays late most nights alone. Sure the building has security, but realistically they aren't probably not stationed outside his office. He has controlled access for regular people and only those with the right fingerprints and optics can get beyond the first reception area. A shadow can enter stealthily by a variety of access points. Should be an interesting next chapter.

Thanks. The San Francisco chapters were hard to write for a variety of reasons. I've never been there so I had to do a lot of Googling. Trying to create the right mix of tension and anxiety while balancing these two coming to grips with how much they mean to each other was like trying to write while doing flips on a balance beam. I'm happy with how it panned out. Fingers crossed for the next couple of chapters.

San Francisco. The city by the Bay. Part of it will be for our jackets and sweatshirts. Florida does not have coat closets in most older homes. I've always had one. It will also give me extra space to store some smaller kitchen appliances that I don't have room for as the kitchen is smaller than what I had. (The closet will be right before the kitchen). I went from 1800sq ft to 1100sq ft. Big difference when it comes to storage space.
