Kage’s test questions were more of a means to drive home how dangerous his job is. Sometimes Elijah needs a stark reminder. He sorta has blinders on when it comes to Kage.
When it comes to moving, they make life so much easier. I've moved quite a bit and now I hire people to do the heavy lifting. We have a king size hybrid gel mattress and I heard more swearing when my guys moved that than when they had to move a corner hutch that weighs a ton..lol
Kage's character morphed into someone completely different from the one I originally envisioned. I guess he didn't want to be seen as the bad guy I wanted him to be.
I'm always amazed at how real these characters become inside my head. Some of them can be quite pushy at times.
That line was written long ago! I instinctively knew y'all were gonna focus on it.
We've got a few speed readers and I swear it's a competition to see who can post first. 🤣
With me, it's stuff of my dad's that catches me off guard. A couple of years ago I cleaned out the storage compartment if his car (which I have) and off all things... his Blockbuster card set me off. You just never know.
Without giving anything away....
Your observations have merit. Whether or not all, or any part of it comes to fruition remains to be seen. You already know I will neither confirm or deny.😉🤭
Papi is one of those mostly background characters, but when he does come front and center, he makes an impact.
Tyler's whole family is integral to Elijah's well being and he knows it.
“Thanks for coming over, Ty. Kage thinks I need a babysitter, but I don’t. I’m happy for the company, though."
Tyler huffed playfully. “You just want free labor.”
“That too,” Elijah replied, shrugging his shoulders with a shit-eating grin.
“Let’s get this party started, Bro!”
“Jesus, you’re a bit much. Before we do, what do you want for dinner later? I gotta start using up the stuff in the freezer.”
“Whatcha got?”
Elijah opened the door and looked at the neatly lab
I could.... but then I wouldn't be able to comment. Can't have that now. Give you all an inch and you'd run a country mile. Totally amok. Chaos would ensue.
I do have a trip planned in September that will probably throw the schedule off. I may need to post two days in a row before I go and then again when I get back. Depending on how y'all behave.
