After the third story I'll take a little break (maybe, depends on the voices). Then I might revisit the Berkshire boys. Ian's friend Jase has been whispering lately. Who knows?

Elijah and Tyler have a level of trust that exceeds the highest level of trust between friends. They're going to need it. You'll just have to wait to find out how the meeting goes.

Lots of good observations, as usual. However, I'm going to point out again that the boss did not summon Elijah. Elijah sent the message that Kage was dead. The boss sent an address. It is entirely up to Elijah to decide what to do. That's why there was no date or time. We'll find out more about the fate of the hybrids as the story unfolds. Trevor is going to fade into the background for a bit. There are more pressing issues which need to be addressed.

It's a might big what if and it's the chance they're going to have to take. Keep on mind, Elijah's decision to go to Crescent City came with a voice agreeing with him. I don't think Kage would lead him astray.

I don't know if it's a record as I have no clue if it's a stat that can be tracked. There's a way to sort stories by number of comments, but not chapters as far as I know. This, and the next couple of chapters are going to transition Elijah and Tyler into a more focused role. Good observation. Trevor has no idea Elijah already knows he killed Kage or that he has the laptop and plans to meet with the boss. Time will tell.

Tyler's family is important to Elijah. They will always be on the field of play. Yes, there are more henchmen out there. Trevor is just one. But he is an asshole of epic proportions. When I came up with the character of Kage's boss I really didn't picture him as being the type to just reach out, reach out and touch someone. Elijah needs answers. He needs them in person. Besides, it suited my purpose as an author. My story, my way..lol!

I didn't hate that everyone figured it out. For a hot minute, I considered changing it, but then was like, naahh, too much work and besides, leaving it in the Chevy gave me many moments of amusement seeing you guys speculate. Snotshitwad. I might need to steal that word. 🤔🤣 Montana is not quite next, but pretty damn close. Tyler finding his mate? Do you really expect me to answer that? Let's hope Elijah learns how to actually listen to the voice.

Yeah... I doubt if I'll ever hit those numbers again for comments on a single chapter. Still a long way to go in this story and I'm glad you have no clue where it's going. Just how I like it! 🤭

Lid. Door. Like I tell my kids "you know what I meant!" LOL. I think I'll keep this error. It's quirky. Like me. Kage's boss never sent him a text saying to meet him in Crescent City. Only an address. It's up to Elijah to decide what to do with the information. I think Elijah wants to meet face to face so he can look the boss in the eye and gauge his reaction for himself when he drops the Trevor bomb. (If that's what it ends up being) The Road Not Taken is one of those classics most everyone ends up reading at some point in their high school English curriculum, at least here in the States and until someone decides they're offended by the use of the words "not taken." Why should one road be ostracized? So not fair. Lol🤣🤣

Exactly. Even with the extra sets of eyes, things get missed. Which is why I post live and don't schedule it. Plus, I have a real issue with commas.

It might take a little while longer, but not too long for Elijah to figure out the source of his inner voice. Subconsciously I'm sure he knows it, but his grief is still too raw. It won't be too much longer until we see the boys in Montana. Trevor.... I'm still on the fence whether or not he's too bright, or just plain stupid.

I know Elijah is mulling over all of the possible "What ifs". There's a lot. I think the meeting with the boss will be a little surprising. I also think you're right when you say the boss is more dangerous than we currently understand. Elijah and Tyler are going to have to rely heavily on each other the more the story progresses. The reasons will become clear.
