There are so many issues nowadays. I honestly believe that the rise of 24 hour news channels, internet and social media has been a blessing and a curse. It's brought these issues to the forefront, but also created a shitstorm of conflict in many cases. Megan and Kyle were very fortunate.

@Mrsgnomie and I often message each other and not just about the stories we're working on. Several times she's told me to get out of her head and vice versa. It's scary when our thoughts align.

I think @Mrsgnomieand I influence each other. Mostly in good ways. Our writing styles have a lot of similarities, but also enough differences that readers can see it. I've always enjoyed stories that go off the rails and do the unexpected. That's why I write the way I do.

My pedicure looks awesome thank you. I have been writing. Furiously. I just knocked out 2 chapters this week and have six more to go. If all goes well with editing and beta reading I should be ready to start posting in 4 or 5 weeks. Patience! I don't know why it completely slipped my mind that Kim's dog was named Tater Tot! I guess because I've been so focused on the story I'm working on. Dogs are the best!

We always lock our doors. So much so that my kid has locked me out twice in the past 3 or 4 months. After specifically telling him not to lock the door, I'm walking the dogs. Did it anyways. The first time there was no key in the lockbox. The second time it was dark and I could barely see the numbers on the lock box. Took about six tries to get it to open. *sigh* kids.
