I am a firm believer in the strength of lifelong friendships. I'm extremely lucky to have one of my own. Elijah and Kage want each other with a ferocity neither of them could ever imagine before. Age difference is what you make of it. There just might be a storm brewing.

I wish I could too! As it is right now the water in the pool at the community I work at is a refreshing (not) 94 degrees. Yuck.

It's always wise to double-check! My inner Massachusetts girl agrees with you! If I had to guess it would be Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park. I've never been to the area (if I do go a side trip to harass @Mrsgnomie in person is a must!). I try to keep details vague when I'm not familiar with a specific place. Shifting 101-test will be Saturday. Anything below 100% is failing. (There's a reason I didn't go into teaching!) The midnight swim was my favorite part to write, and no, Tyler will never be third wheel.
