Going into this story I imagined Elijah being on the receiving end his first time. Much to my surprise, Kage wanted it the other way. An Author had to go with what her characters tell her. Honestly, Kage turned out quite different from how I thought he was going to be.

We haven’t been to the drive-in in a while. Unfortunately last time we went someone walked by smoking and it triggered my husband's asthma and he was miserable for the next week. Besides, drive-ins in the summer in Florida means spraying yourself with so much mosquito repellent you become a Hazmat issue.

At the risk of inflating her ego even larger than it is.... No bet was wagered and lost. More of a "thank you" nod for putting up with me while writing this story. Elijah is definitely more comfortable at his home. Don't forget, even though his time in Montana/Idaho was memorable, it was also short. He really doesn't know Sebastian and the gang all that well. Zev and Ben are the ones he connected with the most and in this time-line, Zev is balls deep in sorting out the Idaho mess.
