Quite the opposite. I love Loe. Probably more than Jay. But as it's been pointed out. Elijah’s dad was the football fan. Loren was most likely never on his radar.

Kage is used to banging humans. He reacts out of habit more than anything else. Also... he might not be a fan of having a sploogy ass.

We'll get a little bit more information regarding Kage's upbringing.

Kage is definitely not a sociopath. He is misunderstood.

Kage has no clue how to process his own self worth. His upbringing didn't teach him how to value himself. It might be a hard lesson to learn.

I find that hard to believe.

If that is what pops into my brain... so be it. After Caleb's story I might go back to my Berkshire crew. Ian's friend Jase has been whispering every once in a while. We'll see!

This journey isn't going to be easy for any of them. I can guarantee you're going to be surprised.

I love your optimism! My house is still chaos. Liveable chaos, but I'm getting there slowly. The main bathroom and our bedroom are pretty much good. The kitchen still needs some more organizing, but I'm waiting on another cabinet. The living room? It's a mess. It'll get there eventually! Elijah isn't sure what he's going to do with the house yet. He hasn't had enough time to process.

You wouldn't believe the noise some of these characters create in my head. I think that's why most authors write. There are stories there that just have to be told. It doesn't matter if it's fiction, poetry, autobiographical or anything else. Pretty sure it holds true for any art, music, painting, sculpting.... if it's within you, the need to create can sometimes be overwhelming. That's exactly what happened with this story, Elijah and the rest of the characters wouldn't leave me alone. I literally wrote 40 chapters in 4 months. To me, that's insane. Not sure if I'll ever do it again. @Mrsgnomie 's second boyfriend, Caleb, is being quiet right now. Probably because I've been so busy with moving and editing/posting. I'm sure he'll start chattering soon!

Paw Patrol was a little after my boys' little kid stage, but I probably would have been onboard. Elijah busting his cherry as a top took me by surprise, but eh, gotta go with the flow! Hot characters? What can I say?

Elijah and Kage's relationship is the most complex one I've had to navigate so far. It's not straightforward. Even David and TC (from my Limits stories) had better building blocks to work with. We'll meet Kage's boss pretty soon. He may surprise you. Kage is technically an assassin, so it might be splitting hairs, but I think that's what Elijah is banking on.

Dammit. I was really hoping we could be friends.

Kage is spectacular in my book. I'd definitely sign up for any of his courses. There is more than a high chance of them hurting each other, but of course I'm not saying what, if anything, I have planned. I especially love my secondary, best friend characters. It allows me to channel some of the relationship I have with my best friend. We don't get to see each other but every couple of years, we text more often than we talk, but I'm expecting a call from her next week. Last year she forgot to call me on my birthday and I still haven't let her live it down. If she forgets again this year it will call for drastic measures. I'll call her mom.

That's a scream of horror right?
