This is what I get for popping in here one last time before I hit the hay! Lol. I think responding to reader's comments is crucial to building up one's following. I'm much more apt to follow an author whose stories I enjoy if that author responds to my comment/s. I thoroughly enjoying engaging with my readers. Honestly, there are some super savvy individuals on this site. I'm always amazed when things are mentioned that I never really gave any thought to. Feedback is important to me in doing final edits on future chapters that have already been written. I especially love all of the theories my readers put out there. While I will never confirm nor deny any plausibility, it's fun to see how close or how far-fetched they can be. I take comments one at a time. It's the only way I know how. To make things perfectly clear. In the time-line of events, Elijah has only returned to California a mere few short weeks after the events in Idaho. The Montana pack are currently up to their eyeballs in trying to sort out the mess up there and in Europe. Elijah doesn't think to contact them because he really doesn't know them very well. As of now, the laptop contents are mere speculation.

I'm sure he had his reasons.

I find it amusing that everyone is so focused on Elijah contacting Sebastian.

Mysterious laptop... hmmm, whatever could the author be plotting? I'm sure Sebastian is planning on transferring the title to Elijah so he can register it in his name. It's not a complicated process.

If we were still limited, it would suck. So far July's comment count is 1433 according to the Weekly Wrap-up blog. The 3 chapters I've posted accounts for almost 450, which is roughly 1/3rd. Un-freaking-believable!

I tend to make my main characters, (and sometimes secondary ones too) suffer traumatic experiences. I think it makes them stronger in the long run. Everything else.... you know you’re not getting answers any time soon! Silly reader. 🤭 As for a cat... they're stealthy, sneaky creatures.

My only excuses are tome and energy. I work 6 days a week and by the time I get home I can manage a few things before running out of steam. Also my husband works overnight shifts Friday thru Monday so on Sunday when I'm off he sleeps during the day and I don't want to make a lot of noise.

I am proud of this story. Stats are fun to try to beat. I'm not super competitive like @Mrsgnomie, but it does feel good to realize what I've created is liked and appreciated. Thanks raven!

Oh molly, I'm so sorry you've had such a difficult time lately. Change is hard. Especially a forced change. Our jobs keep us locked in an environment of our employer's choosing. When they come along and shake that little snow globe we spend a good chunk of hours in every week it's confusing and disorienting. Keep reminding yourself that you are among the best at what you do. Your boss knows this. If training has not been adequate, ask for clarification. It takes time to learn new skills/procedures. Everyone stumbles while navigating this road we call life. You are good at what you do. You have made good changes in the past as tim pointed out. You will get past this. Lean on those who love you. We're always here to give you a boost.
