Jett jumped back, startled when his mountain of a brother jumped out of the box he had been hiding in. All four dogs started going nuts. Bruce immediately went into defense mode and Jett quickly commanded, “Bruce! Off!” Immediately Bruce stopped snarling and trotted to Jett’s side and sat down. Kyle grabbed Rosie’s collar and made her sit too. Rory and Titan had to be corralled by Chris and Piper. Titan nearly wriggled out of Piper’s grasp twice before she tucked him under her arm firmly.

MARCO! 🤭 Wow, what a busy weekend. Son and girlfriend headed back to Tallahassee. I'm still trying to process all the emotions. I'm so proud of him, and I'm going to miss him something fierce. Went out to dinner and then to the comedy club downtown last night. Great show. Australian comedian Monty Franklin was the headliner. It felt good to laugh so much. It was a combination Father's Day, birthday for younger son and going away thing for older son. Went and picked up my mom this morning and took everyone to breakfast (yeah, it was a bit of an expensive weekend, but worth it). Mom's doing okay. I'm mom-sitting for the afternoon. She's singing to my dog right now. 😆 Almost time to get an early supper going. Then it's off to take the younger kid to work and bring Mom back to my brother's. Hope everyone had been doing okay the past few days. It's been rather quiet in here the few times I've checked in. Have a good evening!

Cake would've been too messy! Funny you should say you're allergic to guns. I'm sitting here at the gun range with my 2 kids, hubby and my son's girlfriend. I shot a gun for the first time today! I gotta admit, it was a rush. Will I ever own one? Maybe. I'd have to really think about it. These weapons demand respect. Kim and Megan will eventually figure it out. I can guarantee Xmas Eve will be fun!

Kim and Megan will most likely have some sort of loosely defined friendship. Bo is full of piss and vinegar, as my uncle used to say!

Kyle damn near rolled out the door and into his truck when he left his parent’s house after Thanksgiving dinner. His mom had gone all out this year, fixing every one of his and Megan’s favorites. She had always been a great cook, but when she set her mind to it she was phenomenal. He and Megan were also sent off with enough containers of leftovers to make Tupperware declare a supply shortage.
