The reason I often have to rewrite something is because my smarty-pants readers point something out or pose a question that I realize has to be addressed later on. Y'all keep me on my toes. That and @Mrsgnomiesometimes gets carried away with her red pen. 😆

I hope you get to see your first snowfall next year. There's something special about the first snowfall of the season, or seeing it for the first time. The way it sounds as it crunches under your feet. The hush that surrounds you when you go outside at night, flakes drifting down. The way the cold air nips at your face. That's what I like to remember. I can do without the back-breaking shoveling, scraping snow and ice off the car, blow drying the dog because there's ice balls stuck to its fur, missing gloves, boots that are still wet inside and discovering after two hours outside shoveling that there's no hot chocolate!😆 These days I prefer scraping sand from my flip flops!

The chess pieces are now in motion on the board. Should be interesting to see what kind of moves are made. (The whole feline/snake thing? A total screw up on my part. At some point I changed from cat to snake. Of course my beta, who is probably an eagle shifter with perfect vision, caught it 😆)
