kbois

We don't cackle. We outright laugh hysterically.

I believe the correct Latin translation for their situation is: Ictu Officium Interruptus

I need to stay calm with all the crap happening at work today. 🙄

Gotcha! I called it last chapter with this comment I think his family, especially his parents will be shocked by the condition they find him in. I really do love the bait and switch tactic and Mrs. G nailed it. I've been waiting patiently for this chapter because Jay getting caught blowing Loren was priceless!

I've done it before...I blame it on a glitch in the matrix!

Usually organ donations require some mandatory counseling, if not, request it, should one of your brothers be a match and they agree. Those issues should be addressed before they become a problem. Good luck to you.

Update on Friday the 13th. It wasn’t horrendous, BUT, mid-morning my maintenance guy calls me over to the house that's being renovated so we can move in. Today two guys were going to start laying the floor in the kitchen. My foreman Bill got pulled from the job to do something the other manager just had to have done. So I get Andy and Carl. Carl is new. Andy has been around for a while. They notice the floor is wet. Come to find out when one of the other guys pulled the shower from the bathroom he hit the toilet breaking the wax seal. All that gross water in the pipes drained into the kitchen flooring. The base of the cabinets were wet, swollen in places. Wait... it gets better. They pulled the cabinets away from the wall and yup, you guessed it.... mold. So I specifically told Andy that I needed to get my boss's approval before doing anything. because if we needed to order new ones we could measure exactly how everything already was and order the same cabinets and mark the walls for placement. Andy heard "tear the cabinets apart" 🤦‍♀️. What the ever-loving fu...dge?? So... I had to order new base cabinets and call the fabricators to schedule them to come out and measure again once the cabinets are in. Needless to say... I asked my boss to have Andy taken off the project. I did have a good workout though!

That's a hard one. There are so many variables that are involved with family dynamics. I would say that it depends on the relationship with the particular family member. I would be fine asking any of my immediate family, even though a few of them have become village idiots. My husband, however, would be hard pressed to ask one particular brother who we never want to see again. You would like to think that your family has your back, but in real life, that's not always the case.

My Friday the 13th started out with the discovery that after getting to work I saw that I put eyeliner on only one eye. 🙄🤭 Also, my maintenance guy who is notorious for calling out (and he's been written up) called out again. He has 3 stand by excuses. His car. His mom. His toothache. He went with the toothache this time. I have a feeling this is going to be an intetesting day. Have a good one everyone!

So freaking true!

I'll join you. I have some leftover that I dodged during my last story.

Never said I was part of this generation.... Gen X all the way!

I think his family, especially his parents will be shocked by the condition they find him in.

And we're all humming the theme music to Dallas.

You are so writing a couples pedicure into this story at some point....😅🤣😅😆😁😅🤣😂🤣😅😆😅😅🤣🤣🤣

You would go there.....

I haven't seen anything but the rough draft of the next chapter, but from what I remember and without giving anything away I'm pretty sure it will be jaw-dropping. 🤫

That poor little spud!

Puh-leeze... I live in Florida. Flip-flop season is 365 days a year. On those rare days when it dips into the 30s I will resort to socks and cute ankle boots.

I could give you a before picture as I have an appointment for a pedi on Saturday.
