So my husband finally got to see a gastroenterologist today. Still no answers, but they were able to schedule some tests for next Monday. They're going to run a few upper GI tests and do a colonoscopy. He also has a new medication to try and some probiotics and fiber supplements. His prescription was less than $10. The prep stuff for his colonoscopy? 150 freaking dollars. The pharmacy tech said that very few insurance companies cover it. WTF? I'm pretty sure in every other developed country in the world it would be free or a nominal cost. I seriously hate our medical system. It's been completely destroyed by insurance and pharmaceutical companies. As much as I hate the thought of my husband having a serious diagnosis, I really hope they find something, because if they don't, we're right back at square one. This week is proving to be a bit of a challenge, but I'm focusing on whatever positives I can find, so if anyone has some good news, please share!

Jett's family is a trip...even with a piece missing. Titan I’m sure rules the entire Anderson clan. I kinda picture the Andersons being kind of an Eight is Enough meets Roseanne sort of family. Thanks! The Andersons are a fun group. We'll see some more of them further down the line. I've done the instant love angle and this time I wanted the characters to take it slower and let things evolve naturally. So far it seems to be working out OK.

Great chapter! I really enjoyed editing this as it was sooooo different and soooooo much better! The interaction between Matt and Seamus has completely evolved in such an amazing way. I'm sad that we're almost at the end of this journey. It's been such a pleasure to be on board from the beginning.

Yay! Camp Refuge World is back! Everytime you gift us with a snippet of this little creative world is like coming home from work after a long day, kicking off the flip flops, throwing on a comfy pair of stretchy pants and a beat up t-shirt, settling down on the recliner with a dog curled up between your feet and feeling happily relaxed.
