Thanks Mags! I sometimes obsess over names when I first start a story. I think in Jarren's story I changed Nash's name three times...lol. Now I can't think of him as anything else.

Kyle’s arm snaked out from under his covers to smack at his phone as he tried to shut off his alarm. It was a task made more difficult by a big furry face with a wet nose trying to lick his arm. “Rosie, back!” Kyle commanded. Rosie, a mostly Golden Retriever with a little Irish Setter mixed in, let her tongue hang out of the side of her mouth and backed up a couple of steps before sitting down, her tail swishing back and forth behind her. “Good girl.” He stretched and threw the covers

Mine stay home. I have a dog sitter who comes 3x a day, plus we just put in a doggy door.. Our first dog we took everywhere with us. This trip we're flying and I will never put an animal on a plane. (Zeke is too big for the main cabin and Camden is too fat to fit under the seat in a carrier) I'm in such a good mood today! I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I didn't get home until 930 tonight. Walked the dogs and then worked on packing. Smooth sailing for an hour and then when I went into our bathroom to gather up all the HBA stuff we don't need in the morning, all of a sudden both dogs had that "oh shit" moment when they realized Mom was putting stuff in The Suitcase. Now I have two mutts attached to me and surgical intervention might be needed to unlatch them from my legs. Camden is whining and Zeke keeps nudging me. Poor pups. 🤣

Yeah.... that's the hardest part. I wish dogs lifespans matched humans. It broke my heart to lose my first dig. Now both of mine are getting older and I know it's gonna hurt. But the joy and happiness they've brought us has made it worth it. I made it thru sales training today....wasn't too bad. One. More. Day!

I didn't have a dig when I was a kid. Once I was able to have one, I knew I would have canine companions for the rest of my life. Unconditional love is the sweetest thing.

The sweatshirt is for the 40s at night.... 60s in the day is my ideal temp! Plus we're staying in an old Tudor mansion that's been converted to apartments... those old houses usually have crap for insulation. The Airbnb has great ratings but the one common thread was that the radiator heating sucked. I figured end of May... who needs heat? 🙄😒

Just checked the weather up north.... 60s during the day for the first few days.. 40s at night. I have sandals and flip flops. I'm not even sure if I have sneakers any more. Guess I'm bringing the cute ankle boots. At least we have sweatshirts and jackets!!

We had dinner on the big boss tonight and he wasn't even there! 😂Gotta love expense reports. The manager who was expensing it wanted to go to Red Lobster. I had their new Sesame Soy Ginger Salmon....OMG! I could've made a meal out of the Brussel sprouts! Really good meal. Two glasses of wine went down easy too although the second one hit me halfway home....still feelin it. Passed my husband on the road....he didn't even realize it 🤭. Wine somehow inspired me to pick up a drill and fix the lock on the doggy door. Smh...I seriously have judgement issues when I'm buzzed. Still have to walk the doggos and pack....won't have much time tomorrow night. At least tomorrow I don't have to wake up until 6 (instead of 5). Training aaaaallllllll day...🙄😒😬☹🥱 Need more wine.... Coconut lands a close second to bell peppers in my life🤢. I can do toasted coconut occasionally for some weird reason. But otherwise.... it's the texture that I'm not a fan of.

I gave coconut oil to our dogs to combat their stinky breath (yes it worked). They were nuts about it for like a week and then wanted nothing to do with it. Now I've got a jar just sitting there because even if I liked the stuff I only used it for the dogs and never bothered to change spoons so...no thank you cross contamination! I should just throw it out.

Thanks molly! Breathing deep enough to suck all the oxygen from the immediate surrounding atmosphere. Lol! I've been granted a reprieve. He's gone to the airport to pick up one of the Chicago peeps. I ran out to get some more fruit. Us lower managers are getting together for dinner tonight. Upper managers will be with the guy scheduled to do the training seminar.

You guys need to stop talking about food. Lunch today was a banana scarfed down in between tasks 1000657 and 1000658...... Y'all know I'm no longer religious in any way, shape or form. But.... sweet baby Jesus help me get thru the next two days without doing bodily harm to somebody! My boss had a phone interview he was conducting in another room and with two shut doors he was still clear as a bell. Calgon take me away!!
