    Chapter 18

Is there a Greek god of high speed internet? Hermes? 🤔
  3. I think this is the only story I may not be able to finish. It's obvious the author put a lot of time and effort into it, but it's too long and detailed with trivial things like measurements. The conversations feel too formal, like @Mikiesboy said.... no one talks like that in real life. I'm too far removed from high school to remember much WWII history, but I would hope that anyone would do the proper research to ensure they have the details right.

    Chapter 18

Gwen certainly has her issues but like many people who just don't know any better, she means well, yet often fails miserably. Matt is able to see he faults and accepts her the way she is. He knows she'll never be a lovey-dovey-huggy mother, and he's come to terms with it. He does what he can with the boundaries she's set. Therapy will be good for Matt. Anyone who has gone through that type of trauma can benefit from it if they have the right connection with their therapist. Hopefully Matt will have that with his.
  5. Ahh... I did not see that. Thanks!

    Chapter 1

    Well that hit the bullseye.
  7. No @Cia is the gatekeeper and will not divulge the information under any circumstances. I think she's programmed to self destruct if she does. Then we'll all be up the creek without a paddle.

Spicy vanilla? Probably more like maple pecan. Maple for Canada, and pecan because y'all are nuts! 😂😘

    Chapter 1

This one was a good read. It was fun to see the dynamics between the two couples. Having an open relationship takes a lot of communication whether one is into the BDSM lifestyle or not. Keller and Jason have to find the balance that is crucial to make their relationship work. It seems they're now on the right path. Roger and Devon have finally figured out the depth of their feelings for each other. I think they'll be ok. Thanks Secret Author!
  10. Ok... time to add my two (ninety-nine for inflation) cents in. First off.. The Yacht Club was a fun story. But the author is male. What proof do I have, you ask? This: Now I’d be his spouse, as well as being a good fuck. I guess that’s how life was for women most of the time. No female would ever write that last sentence in conjunction with the previous one. Overall this was a good read. Having worked in travel for over 20 years the cruise details were spot on. I've sailed with MSC once but it was probably 15 years ago. The secret author did a good job.
  11. Ummm... I prefer writing/reading about a good pounding. I guess I better go read what I wrote.
  12. Not to throw a monkey wrench into your theory, but in the States it depends on the state and even the county or district. Most common is elementary from grade 1 to either 5 or 6. Grades 6 (some cases) 7 and 8 are either Jr. High or middle school. Grades 9, 10, 11& 12 are high school. Junior high is an older term leftover from the 50s, 60s and 70s that is still commonly used in some regions.
  13. I agree. This felt like more of an outline of what the story should be. I never saw a name for the narrator... there's no real feel for who he is. Friends for life are unique and share a long history. This felt like reading history...but in a factual textbook way. It needed way more depth.

    Chapter 1

I had to think about this one for a little bit. The story itself was poignant and touching. I have a lifelong friend who I grew up with. She's my sister in every way but blood. These friendships aren't common and should be treasured. The thought of losing her breaks my heart. Thanks SA.
  15. Heard that line before. Won't believe it til I see it.
  16. Don't inflate her ego. She knows diddly-squat.
  17. Overconfident much? Badge of shame maybe.
  18. Go away... you can't even be bothered to comment on but a couple of these. You haven't a leg to stand on.
  19. Oh god... are you another one of those feline fanatics?
  20. Omg.. any intelligence out there would bypass our planet in a heartbeat. Who the hell wants to deal with humanity. Now, intelligent, talking dogs... sign me up for the next interstellar dog house heading that way. @weinerdog are you with me?
  21. Sounds like you are defending your thesis.
  22. sigh. Now we can't be friends.
