    Chapter 4

The next three days are the same; I get up, eat breakfast, rush to the pickup stop for the school bus. Spend each morning in misery, staring across the classroom at beautiful Jonah. The following pursuit is still a hobby; I follow him into the toilets, usually cry every time he leaves, and then get something thrown at me during lunch hour. On day one, I got pushed from my chair in English class and cracked my head off a radiator, but nobody cared. On Day two, I got held against my will in t
  2. Well, I felt the cringe lol. I saw this short a few years ago, completely forgot about it lol. Thanks for reminding me.

    Day 11

Day 11. Work today was actually okay. I got to meet a few more of the floor staff as they put it. When I first arrived, people didn't really notice me, but now folks are warming up and talking to me. Amy has that homely feeling about her; she makes me miss my mom, but I should steer clear of that prospect. I got word back that my store outfit has been sent away for, so I presume that means I am staying. Nobody really annoyed me today, I just got to stock shelves, and that suited me.

    Chapter 3

I happened to be inspired by school shootings. However, I decided to stay away from that subject. I have another novella that I have been working on the past year or two, and it revolves around a school shooting. But I can see why you'd make the comparison to a shooting. When I first wrote the novelette and gave it to my editor, Larry was distraught. So, I rewrote the entire ending. I offered a story with no hope, and we were worried that teenagers would see this and take something from it. Therefore, I changed it to add a message. If you were to read the entire story in one sitting (it's available on Amazon), you'd see that Matthew relives the same day over and over without slight deviation. I guess we'll have to wait and see if anything positive can be said about the current circumstances. Maybe Jonah will get fed up with Dallas, maybe Matthew will do something horrible, but that's the awesome part about cliffhangers. Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoy the rest of the story

    Chapter 3

    Chapter 3

“Mom… you home?” I called out as I shut the front door. The house was quiet, so I concluded that mom was still on her way home from work. I dropped my backpack on the kitchen table, fished a green apple from the wooden bowl by the microwave in the kitchen, and bit into it. 'The juice was incredibly satisfying.' Pulling out my chair at the table, I figured I would make a start on my homework. So with one hand holding the apple, I drew the seat back with the other and sat down.

    Day 10.

We'll have to see how he performs as the days go on. Lets hope its not bad for him; and that Doug is understanding enough to allow some wiggle room. Thanks for commenting.
  9. Great start to the story. The characters all have distinctive voices which adds to the novelty of the story going forward. Lori is hilarious, but it sounds like the neighbourhood kid Scotty and the newfound Jessie also have some comical traits in their arsenal. Everybody around the protagonist Tristan seems like natural jokesters with a winning sense of humour. If the few laughs persist with some lovey-dovey scenes, this story will be a great read.

    Day 10.

Day 10. So, Tuesday didn't go half as bad as I expected it to go. I kept hoping to get an apology from Angela from yesterday. I presumed maybe she had a bad day. People are allowed to have a hard day every so often, but the driveling announcement of "I'm sorry for being a crabby bitch," never came. I'll let it go; I guess one of us has to be the bigger person. Amy helped me out again today, the two of us were assigned to the kitchenware section, and she showed me how to u

    Chapter 2

We do weird stuff when we are 12; and what seemed like a great idea is an ill advised one when we are 30. And you are right many schools look the other way, and bullies end up going out into the big world with this inflation that they can treat people however they like. In regards to the “tub of lard,” if you have ever had weight issues you’ll understand and you’d always be conscious about it. So what might seem like a little bit of weight may seem colossal to someone who believes it. Matthew has low self-esteem, and the words and torment that the bullies have been pushing for years has started to materialize for Matthew. It’s like if you are told something long enough, you’ll start believing it.

    Chapter 2

Nobody deserves to be bullied period. Sadly many people have fallen pray to these inhuman circumstances, and bullying doesn't just stop in the classroom. Many adult just call a work colleague a d**k when they are repeating the same actions as a school bully, but bullies can also be adults. I wish it were gone; I had to deal with it as a kid, and many before me, and it looks like its not going away anyway soon. In fact, in looks liked bullying has gone underground rather than being done in public. That was my goal with this short, to let teenagers know that it happens, and its okay to ask for help. Thanks for reading and your continual commenting, its rewarding Happy Friday.

    Chapter 2

The math problems were displayed centerboard, yet, the distraction of Jonah on the far side of the room rendered me completely useless. I never understood how that boy could be so captivating, but I never questioned it for long. There was a fear of losing any cute interactions he'd have with his friends, or in the odd chance, he got hotter than he was when he turned up for school. I’ll admit that maybe my staring got a little creepy at times, but how could you not look? Jonah was wearing that cu
  14. Yeah Dakota Fanning; I‘m still a big fan of her current work. She was phenomenal in the Alienist. To bad Netflix always cancel the good stuff after a season or two.
  15. Ah Dakota Goyo was cute, he's three years younger, but he was not really my type growing up. I liked Colin Ford, Josh Hutcherson and the likes. I was embarrassed to say I liked Justin Bieber when I was 12, but hey... it happens to the best of us. Though I haven't met a gay guy or straight girl who has ever not liked Jeremy Sumpter lol. So, you were onto something too.
  16. My first crush was either Dominic Scott Kay or Dakota Fanning. I was still figuring things out. Dominic's chocolate brown eyes won me over. Though the first time someone ever garnered my interest IRL, I must have been 12. I was in 6th class (6th grade thereabouts.) There was a boy who I admired, but he was already in 1st year of secondary. (7th grade.) If I came across him outside of school, I couldn't help but look on, wondering how a human could be so beautiful. I didn't know his name at the time, but I learned his name was Taylor when I started secondary. Now that I think of it, maybe it was infatuation, but my lovesick blues went on for three or so years. We never really spoke, but he was so pretty. I was the quiet type, so I kept to myself. Taylor looked like the actor Nick Romeo Reimann from Vorstadtkrokodile, who I also had a bit of a crush on. My poor 13-year-old heart, lol. My next close crush was a boy called Kelvin. We became good friends in a holiday park. Here in Ireland, down south, there are mobile home sites, and folks categorize them as holiday homes. My family owned a mobile in Courtown, and we'd spent every summer down there with the beach, amusements, and plenty of restaurants a close walk away. During the summer months, I got to know Kelvin, who had an electric personality and was quite goofy. Everybody knew him on site, but equally, I was pretty popular on the site funnily, but never at home. Naturally, the two most popular kids would have to cross paths, and I ended up really liking him. At first, I thought he'd be annoying since he was a year younger, but it never turned out that way. Our friendship only existed on the holiday site, and when summer was over, we went back to our lives. Just every summer, it was the highlight of my vacation just getting to see him. Kelvin was a pretty scrawny kid when I first met him, but he became hot so damn quickly during the winters. I must have been 15, and him 14. We just became good friends, nothing more. I came out to Kelvin when I was 16, and he said, "I already know." Later that week, I came out to all my family who was with us on vacation. Safe to say, my aunts took delight in embarrassing me in front of cute boys. The first time I was in love, I happened to be with a boy from New Zealand. Long-distance is hard, but we made it work. It was the first time I called anything official. I was about 15-17 at the time. His name ended up being Taylor too, which I found ironic given my first crush was called Taylor. Though now, I have the man of my dreams, so you could say, this is my real first love as I had a crush on two, and one I never met; though that's my tidbit. Shout out to a young Jimmy Bennett before everything went haywire.

Thanks for commenting; hopefully I will be able to offer up a few surprises, maybe even shed a few tears too. It awesome to know folks liked what I wrote, but its even more empowering when I make people cry. Stay safe out there.

Let's hope he keeps the job. Thanks for commenting, good to see you.
  19. Thanks for the comments, and I am glad you enjoyed Who We Are. Right now, I don't have any plans to add to the story, but sometimes characters from my newer stories crossover, so there is a chance of encountering the lads in future works. Who knows, maybe I will return to it in the future, though as of now, there is no desire to add on and continue a story. The good news, however, I am constantly creating new fiction, so there is always plenty of content like it.

    Day 9.

Day 9. I cycled to that job because I'm determined to keep the cost down. I got to do my first full day, and I'm beat already. I'm wondering if this is what it really is like to work. No wonder people are moody all the time. I didn't get to see any sun all day; Organtico should tailor the roof and put some skylights in to keep the employees happy. I didn't actually wear a store outfit yet, which is this horrible burgundy color shirt with black pants. I kept thinking all the employees

    Chapter 1

It was difficult to get down all my thoughts on the topic, but it worked out well as I was writing Dumbstruck - Part 2, so, writing a romance/adventure next to a drama is a good mix. You don't feel enveloped in sadness of a drama lol. Thanks for the comment, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the story to come.

    Chapter 1

I stared at the video until it burned, and my eyes began to water. I had a problem. But like a junkie, I required my daily fix. I could control it. Sometimes. Yet, my rational mind wanted me to keep looking. He was studiedly beautiful, even if he realized it or not, and that was his crime. Beauty. Somebody like Jonah wouldn’t give me the time of day; I’m just a fat, sweaty, hormonal nobody on the social scale, and my nonexistence was assisted by the ravaged pimply face and copper hair. As f

    Folder X

Matthew is a bullied, overweight 13-year-old boy who wants to pass through his Junior High years without trouble. However, Dallas and his friends find great satisfaction in belittling, verbally, and sometimes physically abusing Matthew because he is a quiet kid. Matthew has an intense infatuation with Jonah, Dallas's best friend, and it can only end badly if the torment wasn't enough. Or maybe... all it takes is one person to stand up to a bully.

  25. Day 7. There are some rough neighborhoods around here. It's nothing like from back home, but that's what a lady said on the metro. I'm still not sure what she meant by it. Everything looked stereotypical as far as the white middle-class folks go. The neighborhood had all these neat picket fences and lush trimmed bushes, topped with basketball hoops hanging above the garages, and some golden lab barking from the rear yard. Alright, I'll admit that the bicycle thing hasn't taken off the
