  1. I don’t know how Comicality still manages to produce so much new and original material. God knows I struggle. However, what he has created here is something unusual from his expected fiction. Typically the man himself does not break a teenagers heart, but in this tale he has worked in an unexpected plot-twist for sure. Certainly worth a read

    Overheard

I found the overall theme different compared to what you typically write. You don’t usually break a teenagers heart in front of your audience and then built it back up again. I throughly enjoyed the tale; and if I must say so one of the most engaging this year. Not that your stories don’t captivate the reader, but this story had something extra

    Self

I agree all your poems have a symbolic value on human condition. How you effectively seep into other peoples lives with such each, openness and familiarity is what makes your work so special.

    The Past III

Letting go of the past is vital for self development, but without the past there wouldn't be much of a character. Sometimes no matter how difficult the past may have been, you must always remember you are where you are for a reason, and in a odd notion you must respect to notion that things never turned out worse. Us lucky few... Thanks for the insightful words. A poignant reminder to look forward and not back in nostalgic haze.

    The Past II

Sometimes the past is not in our control, but rather inscribed for us. Some are unluckier than others. It depends on what type of past means shame and what is non-escapable.

    The Storm

It reminds me of the personal storm most people are inexplicably faced with at some point in their life. The storm of YOU. The manner in which you describe it is haunting beautiful and familiar. Your writing has been a wonderful discovery.

    Ambition

It’s true this world has way to many arrogant people. Though unfortunatly we must learn to co-exist. Ambition can be the maker of character or the reminder for a bad reputation.

    Desire

Desire is a torment for sure. I like how you showcased the desire to want what others have; fueling the desire to seek more. I have found that paying less attention to others the happier you will be.
  10. I think Dualshock 4 is the better control for gaming, perhaps a little more durable. Older models had weaker rubber on its analog sticks, but it has been fixed with newer models. Generally the analogs can get slipper with clammy hands. In terms of comfort the Xbox is great. However, it is a lot noisier than the DS4. A big plus for the DS4 is it rechargeability. With the Xbox one you need to replace physical batteries. Save the world and do away with physical batteries. I don't understand why Microsoft are still using this feature. Personally I prefer the DS4. From a young a young age the Playstation has been my go to console. Though I think we have reached a point where they are equal contenders now, so it does not really matter as much anymore. This guy does a good breakdown of the pros and cons of each controller. I have connected the DS4 to an iMac and also a windows computer and they worth wonderfully, you just need to configure it in the settings. Xbox controller I cannot say however, though assuming it is Microsoft it has got to work.
  11. Thank you, I am glad you approve of the concept and its execution.
  12. Thanks, I'm still getting back into the swing of things, but I can't wait to share an upcoming story announcement with everyone that I didn't expect I'd write a sequel to lol.
  13. As a child you where my wayfinder, my guide and my rock. As a child you where my entertainer, my nurse and safe keeper. As a child you where my teacher, my advisor and my fashion designer. As a teenager you where my chef, my incentive and comforter. As a teenager you where my embarrassment, my nuisance and my arch nemesis. As a teenager you where my adventurer, my spontaneous, but compassionate mother. As an adult you where my friend, advice seeker and now a t

    The Darkness

The flow is seamless in every one of these rhymes. After you read each one I am left pondering for a moment wondering what it is you are saying, where multiple ideas come to mind. Your work can be adapted for a wide audience and it is pleasantly rewarding with value, coupled with an ease of read. The poems say little, but speak plenty of volume.
  15. Another lovely sonnet. The first thing that jumped out at me was the bible. No idea why, unless that is what you where saying. Again, there is a familiarity to your words, with lots of hidden meaning.

    Welcome

You have beautiful way with versing words, so simple, yet, excellently lyrical. Thanks for the change of pace from typical reads.

    Chapter 1

Thanks Marty, I enjoyed writing this side piece. Actually, this snippet was inspired from a larger body of work I wrote and intend to turn into a series once I am finished with my project EIWT to branch away from LGBT for awhile. Perhaps in the future you will get to read of these characters again, thought once I finish Before The Storm I am going to transition away from Gayauthors to focus on launching my professional career.

    Chapter 1

Thank you, I ended up writing roughly another 100 words, although it may seem small in the terms of the story I hadn't thought about it until I had someone else say it so I corrected it. I glad it drove the point home further
  20. I believe evil and good coexist, we each adapt according, day by day to favour a little of both. It may not be bad in terms of some terrible thing. Again, that us up to the individual on what their assumption of bad is. However, we have all been there as children, steeling other kids toys, then tying to do good afterward to mend the deed. As we grow older sometimes the actions get louder. Sometimes we can stray down an impressional path... eg. drugs. In my mind you know you are doing bad when you are injecting yourself the first time, possibly the second. Even sometimes there will come a time when you will want to make a change, that will be the good. That is why I have noticed that many hardened men, perhaps in jail care a lot for kids and their own children a great deal. The saying is, no matter how tough you think you maybe, a soft spot will always reside. When people take away the religious pretext and look at us rationally, we both of the option to be good and bad, and compulsion and adrenaline fuels those desires.
  21. Thank you for your words. Abuse is an awful thing and it has history everywhere. The real love is showing the courage and compassion to make a change for someone who's world is dark. I'm not religious at all. On the contrary, I am an atheist. However, just because I am, doesn't mean my characters maybe... all the time. Though true, we so much bad that it's hard to think of someone up in the sky is meaning all good. I think what this story for me was the vulnerability and the ideal of acceptance from a friend who knows life is tough for you.
  22. I am sorry to hear about friend, sadly we have all lost someone to suicide. It has its horrible hooks in all aspects of people lives; I have gone through plenty of suicide watch and it's not easy, even been a victim of depression myself. The best thing anyone can do is find the parts of humanity to stick around for. Sure enough, I would have missed dogs, and music and omg, traveling... my family. Sometimes when you get into that mindset it is hard to get out of it, and I guess I am lucky one to have done so. I agree bullying is a big cause of depression amongst teenagers, but so in peer pressure in the work place. Ironically, if I hadn't been severely bullied when I was younger, I don't think I'd be the same person as I am today. I ended finding the beauty in the most molecule things. There is not truer words that you say when you want to die, you will, if nobody tries to intervene. Often these signs are missed since life gets busy. I guess it is even harder to deal with when it comes directly from a parent. Though as I have learned, a random stranger or familiar face often turns up when you are the lowest, sometimes all you have to do is reach out. Except, this is incredibly hard for someone who has suicidal thoughts to do. I turned all my negative and sad thoughts into something resourceful and I'd encourage anybody who ever is feeling this way to turn to art, it really does help the soul. Music, Art, Creative Writing, Photography - combine it with travel and you have the makings of a new adventure. Thanks for your comment; I hope you are okay. The only thing we can do is be there for those who are feeling down, through thick or thin

    Chapter 1

Thanks Coach, I glad you enjoyed my story, and got the message I was trying to convey. In this modern world we are often saturated with noise that sometimes it's hard to get through to those who are having difficulty being heard. Sometimes listening is the best action one can do; as many people don't do enough of it anymore, I find lol. Thanks for the comment. I hope you enjoy some of my other stories.
  24. When I hear I made someone cry with what I wrote it is such an empowering thing. Though sad on your end, I am delighted I was able to create such a reaction on your behalf. I hope you enjoyed the story. Thanks for the comment, it made my day
  25. A boys infatuation at a beach turns into self-actualization of ideals when he confronts inner thoughts about his young friend. This story is a short, sweet read for those who wish to relive sweet memories of their childhood.
