  1. chapter twenty-four jay Something is wrong. The hair on my arms prickles, like a glitch in the matrix. Then I hear it. A whimper. Almost inaudible, yet achingly familiar. The hollow, broken sound builds like the opposing crowd after an overtime loss. I turn over in the dark and run my hand over Loren’s shoulder. “Hey.” When he doesn’t answer, I jostle him a little. “Loren.” I flick the lamp on. “Loren. Wake up.” Loren’s back and arms are tense as he

  3. Awww, sooo sweet 🥰🥰🥰
  4. It formats weird if I try and post from anything other than a word doc. And those four sample bottles of whiskey you sent me are gone, but they wouldn’t be enough to get me drunk enough to post, anyway.
  5. The computer is actually fine, which is good. It’s more of a maintenance issue. I’m not worried about them finding anything. I’m such a boring person. They can look all they want. The most offensive thing on there are my chats with Kbois lol. And since I didn’t log out of my accounts, they could easily find those. They could also log onto GA and post on here. And if that’s the case… Hey! IT person, please download chapter 24 from my drive to a Word doc, and post with the title ‘Island BJ’. Thanks! -OG Mrsgnomie

    Genre Fatigue

I think the only genre fatigue that really exists is on an individual level. As a reader, I once binged on m/m alpha/werewolf for several months. It felt like I read everything out there (obviously, I didn’t) and it exhausted me. I needed a break, so I jumped to a different genre. And then I jumped back! I would hate for someone to think there were too many stories in a particular genre, so they didn’t write one! I want to find the next excellent story to binge! What a sad day if any one genre stopped growing. There are so many unique ideas, phrases, characters, arcs, etc to let them go to waste.
  7. I would actually consider posting early but my laptop is getting repaired. I won’t get it back until first thing Monday morning. Ask @kbois It also means that the next chapter will post 2 hours later than normal. What are the odds lol
  8. It’s sitting here, queued up and ready to post in, *looks at watch* 46 hours
  9. Am I tired of hearing “I love this story! After 9+ months of dreaming and crafting? Of course not. My biggest desire is that this story is enjoyed!
  10. @spike382 would you like to refresh @Topnotch about my feelings regarding re-reading BN while reading JL?
  11. I am all knowing. And see, was that so hard?
  12. @James Baxter if you're going to like all the comments, you better pipe in
  13. Ummm. Lets come back to this generation, yeah? Okay.
  14. Wait until you read her upcoming story and tell me she wouldn't do something like that...
  15. What if I told you that the epilogue to BN was all a happy dream, when in reality, Jay is dead. Seamus, Matt, and Aidan die in a plane crash on their way to the hospital. Loren is left all alone after he finally learned to be happy.
  16. They think its all fun and games until they read the chapter...
  17. Are you trying to earn favor with @kbois with all this foot talk? Or do you just really want Jay and Loren to get their feet done up?
  18. What the heck happens in hospitals?!!
