I brought my preemie home at a whopping 3lbs 14oz after only 7 days in the hospital. F**cking terrifying. Perfect description lol. Loren is absolutely the most emotionally unemotional person ever. Neurotic hero 🤣 As I read this comment, it made me think of the internal struggle he's had the last few years. There is the old Loren, who built walls to keep the pain out, who was a certain 'way' for everyone, who thought being emotional was weak. Then he met Jay, who made him feel safe enough to 'feel'. God, he must be battling two different sides of him LOL. What a war!

This was a big win. Which they earned. As for the ending of his career? I can't imagine going cold turkey on social media, not when you're that big, but I'm sure they will find their groove. It can seem daunting at first, not know what to expect. But like most things (including parenting), you figure it out as you go.

I think things will be okay with Jay's parents. Jay has been very diligent with those boundaries and it's paying off. But you're right, they are just people, harboring their own fears.

I know the saying “age is just a number” is pretty cliche, but I’d like to think this story highlights its truth in a few way. One of them being that age isn’t always a great indicator of maturity. Even in high school, Jensen showed a lot of maturity, that maturity extended into adulthood. He was hardworking, dedicated, thoughtful, and considerate…at 17 or 23, he was a catch (though, not for Nolan at 17 lol). I also think it’s so easy to use age as a barrier when you have other, more personal, reasons that are holding you back. Which I believe was the case for a Nolan.

congrats on landing yourself a young, hunky one 🤤 I agree that age is just a number, though there are certain times, as I. This story, one one is very young, it can feel weird in theory. Nolan still thought of him as a teenager even when he wasn’t. When the time is right, your mind still shift, and you’ll be ready. Besides, Nolan had other crap to worry about anyway lol.
