I know the saying “age is just a number” is pretty cliche, but I’d like to think this story highlights its truth in a few way. One of them being that age isn’t always a great indicator of maturity. Even in high school, Jensen showed a lot of maturity, that maturity extended into adulthood. He was hardworking, dedicated, thoughtful, and considerate…at 17 or 23, he was a catch (though, not for Nolan at 17 lol). I also think it’s so easy to use age as a barrier when you have other, more personal, reasons that are holding you back. Which I believe was the case for a Nolan.

Who knows what the future holds. Probably not much more from Jensen and Nolan, but I’m sure another story will come out and you’ll forget all about these guys lol

Nolan still thought of him as a teenager even when he wasn’t. When the time is right, your mind still shift, and you’ll be ready. Besides, Nolan had other crap to worry about anyway lol.

Man, I forgot how far out on the cliff you left everyone. I'm so glad they found Cameron alive! And what a relief for him. Just imagine thinking this was your life. And how good that shower must have felt. I understand his hesitation but I think it was apparent that they were there to help. Ugh. Such a happy outcome for him. I hope the tides are changing and there will be more saves than losses. With that said, it's not encouraging to find out it's possibly permanent. I mean, if anyone can find a way around that BS, it's Seb and crew. Possibly Caleb (shut up, he will redeem himself if I have a day!) but it won't be easy, not if things were changed molecularly. It’s crazy the power youth has and how the end up wielding it. It’s not always a bad this, just humorous.

Over time, I think it changes. Becomes more manageable? Do we think it's acceptable to let the pain go? Or do we feel obligated to carry it around forever? Grief is very complex. I imagine Headstalls story hit close to home. Drudging it to the surface. I think that's okay. Grief ebbs and flows.

I think it ties into what you commented the other day (yesterday? I don't know!). Life isn't all that straightforward. You have two sides to every situation, and more times than not, there isn't a right or wrong. There is your truth and my truth. Or Penn's truth and Nash's truth in this case. Each is valid.
