    Chapter 29

Man, I forgot how far out on the cliff you left everyone. I'm so glad they found Cameron alive! And what a relief for him. Just imagine thinking this was your life. And how good that shower must have felt. I understand his hesitation but I think it was apparent that they were there to help. Ugh. Such a happy outcome for him. I hope the tides are changing and there will be more saves than losses. With that said, it's not encouraging to find out it's possibly permanent. I mean, if anyone can find a way around that BS, it's Seb and crew. Possibly Caleb (shut up, he will redeem himself if I have a day!) but it won't be easy, not if things were changed molecularly. Speaking of molecular...Kage is part of Elijah? Were they mates after all? I find it so fascinating.

    Nope. It’s here to stay.

    Chapter 28

  11. It’s crazy the power youth has and how the end up wielding it. It’s not always a bad this, just humorous.
  12. Over time, I think it changes. Becomes more manageable? Do we think it's acceptable to let the pain go? Or do we feel obligated to carry it around forever? Grief is very complex. I imagine Headstalls story hit close to home. Drudging it to the surface. I think that's okay. Grief ebbs and flows.
  13. I think it ties into what you commented the other day (yesterday? I don't know!). Life isn't all that straightforward. You have two sides to every situation, and more times than not, there isn't a right or wrong. There is your truth and my truth. Or Penn's truth and Nash's truth in this case. Each is valid.

    Great start. *hint hint*
  15. Samesies.
  16. Nope. All ready to go. No need to mess with perfection.

  18. It’s a real Jekyll and Hyde situation. Me being Jekyll, of course. @kbois is undoubted Hyde.
  19. They will be the most perfect 😇 😇😇😇
  20. Well told story of loss, mourning, and emptiness. But in the midst of the hurt, Headstall brings a glimmer of hope in the broke-hearted. Proving you never know when you’ll be given a second chance. Definitely recommend this story. In the end, I think you’ll walk away with a smile.

  21. When Woodward was going back to the scene of the accident, he felt hallowed because there was no sign that anything was disrupted. Ain’t that the truth. The world moved on if we’re ready or not. What is a source of devastation to one person is an inconvenience to another. Both men spent the last year mourning. Likely, surrounded by people who tried to be supportive but I’m sure they always felt alone. These two can offer each other something unique. They understand each other in a way that others simply cannot. Very sweet and exceptionally well told.
  22. Thank you for this. This comment sums up a lot. It's so easy to judge without knowing. I try very hard to write those situations into my stories. In a sense, they're real life twists and turns. It's so easy to try and make everything fit into a perfect little box, yet it rarely does!
  23. 🤣🤣🤣 What can I say? I like to leave 'em wanting more.
