Me! Sneeky? Never. I'm happy that you are enjoying the story, this was Max and Stacy's introduction to The Boot World. They are total opposites in many ways but so alike in others, they fit together like jigsaw pieces complimenting each other making a great couple. Thank you for commenting and I look forward to hearing from you again.

RIP - Comicality - May 1975 -- April 2024
Mancunian commented on Myr's blog entry in Gay Authors News
There was a slight delay in it showing up but the receipt was received promptly so there are no problems with it, the delay is probably by design. Please don't feel this way, what you have done is incredible. You have given us all an opportunity to say thank you to Comicality and do something for him in a practical and meaningful way that helps Momicality and we appreciate that.- 169 comments

Thank you Jeff for the update and for keeping this open. Another donation has just landed, however, it only shows up if you click top donations and GoFundMe has not updated the total yet. Maybe you could look into this as the receipt has been received and a further donation is planned for next month's cycle too. These donations have come from a fund left by my late father and have been made as per the fund requirements. Added note. - GoFundMe has now updated the page and total, it would appear there is a slight delay in updating. -
A great chapter where not only is Lars healing, but the family is healing too. And the icing on the cake is Lars meeting Betty, these two deserve love too.

Thank you @Doha for reading and commenting, I appreciate it and I know my father would too if he was still with us. As you can tell from the previous comments Cognac69 enjoyed writing this story. I can remember him talking about helping the young who were homeless and his dream of opening something like Edward Langford House, however the costs prevented him from doing so. He did a lot in his lifetime to help disadvantaged youth and children. He worked in children's homes for a while and fostered children but had to stop when he collapsed due to mental and physical exhaustion. After his recovery, he worked hard to support his family and volunteered in a shelter for homeless people until a few months before he passed away. There was a lot more to him than I can say in a comment, maybe one day I will write his biography in his honour, needless to say, I am proud of my father and who he was, he is missed and still loved.

The Boot World - The Boot & The Lost Souls Series
Mancunian replied to Mancunian's topic in Stories Discussion Forum
I thought I would give an update to those who are following about how things are going and where they are up to. I am still working on the rewrite of The Boot Three Years On, it is taking time as there are spelling and grammatical errors to put right. I am seeing areas that are being expanded on by way of narrative and character interaction and parts in the story that lack cohesive continuity which are being corrected. This means that the story is being added to in many ways without changing the storyline and is a big task. I am also working on a couple of other projects which will be posted when they are complete. In the meantime, I thought I would recommend another story to everyone, although it is not written by me it is referenced in TBTYO. The story is Edward Langford House, it describes how the Edward Langford House Trust came about. I consider it my inspiration for The Boot World and its stories as such, it could even be considered the first story in The Boot World. It is a well-written story and was written by Cognac69, my late father who was also my hero and best friend. I have added links to the story and my father's profile for anyone who wishes to read the few stories he wrote. Although my father has passed away reactions and recommendations would still be appreciated. If anyone wants to leave a comment I will read, acknowledge and reply to it in my father's stead. https://gayauthors.org/author/cognac69/ profile link.- 73 replies

Wow, that is just beautiful. Matt and Jo have given Matt more than, he now has a sense of belonging and family. Sam looks like he is thriving and are my eyes playing tricks on me or does Sam look like he is a mix of these two great guys? Thank you for bringing this real-life feel-good news. This brought tears to my eyes, happy ones for Sam but also sad ones for the kids who still wait and live in hope. @LJCC I hope you find your "honey" soon and hopefully, your own "Sam" too.

There isn't any mention of a list in the blog entry, @Myr may have some plans for one in the future but I don't know for sure. For a definite answer, you would need to ask @Myr

@Myr made an announcement about software changes to the site, this was one of them. I've added the link if you want to check it out, and well done on receiving the award.

You do raise some very good points, it is also worth pointing out that as a doctor he is bound by the hippocratic oath. In the oath, the physician pledges to prescribe only beneficial treatments, according to his abilities and judgment; to refrain from causing harm or hurt; and to live an exemplary personal and professional life. If he does anything else he is not only in breech of the oath, but could face serious repercussions to his life and career.

It looks a lot like a Yorkshire pudding to me, so I'm sure it's nice and tasty.

Everything went well for Johnny, he and Ed are settled and happy. Enter Ed's past. I don't think Ed's actions are the result of real feelings for his father, it's probably been done for his sister, Ellen. Either that or a sense of duty, or possibly just to be able to say, 'See, I can have a good life and make something of myself without you' to his father. Whatever the reason Ed's focus is on Ellen's happiness, but I wonder what will happen next?
