I'm happy that you are happy and yes the help is very much needed. I can tell you a lot about Charlie & Michael and Max & Stacy, but sorry no spoilers here my editor may beat me lol. Thank you for the much appreciated comments, it's what authors feed on.

It's 2 am Friday 17th November here in the UK and guess what, What Happened To The Baxter Boys is now live!
-
Temperatures were dropping fast, and the night was drawing in earlier by the day. It was expected as October came to a close and November began. Luckily there hadn't been any frost in the city yet, but that could change any night. Shelter was essential, too many more nights without a roof would be a problem. Last winter had been spent in a squat, but that wasn't as easy now. Property owners were being more careful securing buildings or simply demolishing them, and with all of the new development

Charlie and Michael Baxter lost their father at a young age. They have been brought up by a hard-working mother who loved and treasured her boys. Unfortunately, she passed away before they finished college and through no fault of their own, they found themselves homeless. This is their story. This fictional story is set in Manchester, England. The locations are real and existed in the recent past where this story is set, many of the locations still exist and can be visited. All characters are fictional and do not exist, any similarity to any person living or deceased is purely coincidental.

In Drew's case it has slipped so low it's around his ankles and trips him over. If his Hobbit feet were not so big it would hit the ground.
-
American English was derived from British English. But remember, the only true Americans are the Native Indians, everyone else there is either an immigrant or a descendant of an immigrant.
-
I don't know if you are right or wrong, what I do know is that I don't agree with colonisation by force.
-
What Drew forgets is that I wasn't talking about flags. Americans, including Texans, speak English which did not come from Spain. But then, his memory is even shorter than he is.
-
Have you been swearing at him as well as telling him the Drewth!! Shame on you, I'll tell Mama Espinosa if you don't stop it and tell her you need to be grounded.
-
Really! You don't say! You must have forgotten that we Brits have been around a lot longer than you Texans and we taught you the language. But now you have convinced me that you know what no is try taking notice of the bird, he's telling you something. NO MORE DREWTH.
-
I think you need to take that poor bird to the vet's, he has a serious problem shaking so much, or is he clearing his ears of the dreaded Drewth.

As Terry said we are both working hard and having a blast getting everything ready for posting the first chapter. I hope you will take a look and let us know what you think of it. I can't thank Terry enough for his hard work and the support he is giving me and I'm sorry for being the reason you haven't seen so much of him recently. I promise that when I start posting the story we will both have more time and be more involved again.

For God's sake give us all some peace

Jubal's love for Lucas is beyond doubt, even the doc and Reid can see it, they can't say it but I believe they approve. Both men, Jubal and Lucas, deserve love in their lives. I think Reid may be curious about the marks on Jubal's neck, but he doesn't appear to be suspicious, I'm sure he would say something if he was. Reid's priorities seem to be to make sure that Lucas is looked after, and then that Jubal looks after himself, followed by being fair and just to both men and the other victims of Ronnie Prescot. All good qualities in a sheriff, men like him would be few and far between in those days, not to mention in high demand. I like that the doc told Jubal how to take Lucas' pulse, or was it that he sensed Jubal's need for physical contact and gave him a sociably acceptable way to have that contact? I prefer to think it be the latter. I get the feeling that there is more Jubal praying for Lucas in Bearpaw, maybe Jubal is in those other prayers too. I know they are both in the prayers of the readers, after all we don't know what @Headstall has in store for them. I think he has good things waiting for them, if not he better be running to them thar hills,

Yep, tomorrow is Bearpaw Monday, yippee!
-
Aloha Albert, I hope you and Steve are keeping each other warm 😉

Gary, I hope you don't mind me hijacking the room temporarily to make an announcement. I just want to tell as many people as possible. I promise not to post on Mondays, I could never compete with Bearpaw Monday. I have been working hard and writing a new story to add to The Boot World with the help and support of a great editor/beta reader and hope that the following announcement will be received well. The new story will start to be posted very soon, and the proposed posting for the first chapter is to be within the next 7 to 10 days. The working title is being kept as the story title, What Happened To The Baxter Boys. Charlie and Michael Baxter lost their father at a young age. They have been brought up by a hard-working mother who loved and treasured her boys. Unfortunately, she passed away before they finished college and through no fault of their own, they found themselves homeless. This is their story. I hope you will all enjoy the story. My editor/beta reader has worked hard and still is, to help me bring their story to you. I hope that you will appreciate the hard work and support that @raven1 has invested in this story as much as I do.

To survive a child's birthday party is a feat in itself, you deserve a medal, lol.

Well, I've got to the end of one contract with a happy client, yippee. His shops will open Monday morning and each one will have three golden balls hanging outside. On the same day, my contract with them becomes a regular consulting/maintenance contract and the work is then easier.
-
Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping yourselves warm/cool depending on where you are.
-
Hi Gary, I hope you're looking after yourself
