What a beautiful poem that shows the importance of our dreams, it doesn't matter if you have one or many dreams they carry an importance. They lift us and give us hope for that 'one day' when a dream may come true. I do what I can working for homeless people, in a voluntary capacity, and too often I come across people who no longer have dreams. Their dreams have been taken from them, not necessarily by other people, sometimes it is circumstances beyond their control. One of the first things I try to do is help them rediscover their dreams, if I can succeed in that then I have helped them rediscover life. Life is nothing without dreams. Our dreams are important, thank you for reminding us.

Those are some of what I see and have taken from your very personal poems, thank you for sharing them, I know I will come back and read them again. I know that by acting on your courage and adventurism you discovered the openness of a new life and met the man you love dearly, I wish you well my friend and many more years of happiness. And thank you for the encouragement in your Haiku. I hope that more of us can find the courage to discover our happiness too.

It looks like Diego is being given the run-around by the lawyers, he will be doing the right thing by talking to Steve's friend. Then he can get better help in dealing with Calvin and the school district. It appears as though Kenny is getting support from his fellow students, so I hope that goes well and helps his case. And, who has made a report to CPS? Kenny must feel like his world is caving in on him, hopefully, that will be resolved in a good way for Kenny's sake.

I've already got that on my reading list, but as you say Terry too long for me to read at the moment. My reading list is growing with recommended stories, but I need to finish writing first.

If you are both reading this story it sounds like a good recommendation to me, I've added it to my reading list for when I have a bit more time.

Proper gravy does not contain milk of any description, it contains stock made from the meat it accompanies.

It could be guess the author by their taste in gravy, lol

And then there is my favourite, Guinness gravy. The flavour of the Guinness takes it to another level.

I nearly forgot, there is lamb and mint gravy too.

Onion gravy, turkey gravy, chicken and stuffing gravy, and beef and red onion gravy. You don't need to be stuck with just one gravy, you have a choice, lol.

I have a photo taken by my dad in BC, it's of an eagle in its nest, it was one of his favourite photos.

Chips (fries to those of you across the pond) and gravy is normal in many parts of England. A favourite in Manchester is pudding, peas, chips and gravy, it's lush.

That's hot. Currently, it's 26c/79f in my lounge and it's 11:30 pm it's going to be a warm night

Matt has been put through a lot in this chapter, fear, anxiety, anger and trepidation, and no doubt more. Is he in a conversion camp or is it more like a conditioning camp? One where everyone is conditioned to unquestioningly do whatever they are instructed to do and brainwashed to believe whatever their controllers want them to believe. I call them controllers as that appears to be what they are doing, controlling and conditioning, not teaching or caring. I think the body is probably Artemis, not Adam or Derek. Adam and Derek are the captains of the football team and may be of use to them, whereas Artemis may be seen as expendable. It's intriguing, I want to know more about the purpose of the establishment as that will help in explaining what is going on.

Cheese sauce made with blue cheese is great for dipping, it's really tasty. As blue cheese has a strong flavour you don't need to use as much cheese as you normally would. I sometimes have it with steak or roast gammon, it gives extra flavour to the meal. I think you would like it.

Aloha Albert my friend. I find blue cheese to be an acquired taste, but it's excellent for making sauces and soup. Homemade broccoli and stilton is my favourite soup and a nice thick blue cheese sauce is great for dipping garlic mushrooms.

You are not a failure. A failure would walk away from hard work and responsibility. A failure would turn their back on a friend or relative that needed help and support. You did the total opposite, you did everything you could to help and support your Mother. You worked hard to give your mother as much independence as possible and helped her to preserve her dignity for as long as possible. You have helped to extend your Mother's happiness. That tells me that you are a good and supportive son who is a success. I think if your Mother knew how you felt it would upset her as she sees a good loving son who has been her rock through a difficult time, a son who loves and cares for her, a son who is a success in her way of raising you and become a good and caring man. This defines you as a success. With others now performing the caring duties that your Mother needs is the time to celebrate the time you have and create happy memories in the time you have left together. Enjoy this time and create those happy moments for you and your Mother. I wish you both well in creating those happy memories together.

Phew, what have this kid's parents sent him in to? It appears the school has a dark side that maybe Matthew and Adam need to keep clear of, but it looks like Artemis may be caught up in it. Hopefully, the next chapter will tell us more.

Intrigue and suspense are introduced in the first chapter, I like it. From what I read our main character has been sent to a conversion camp by bigotted parents. I need to read more to satisfy my curiosity.
