I was wondering what happened to the other Chosen that didn't join Ghayle? The five that joined her became the demon generals, but what about the others?

It's been a few years, but I'm glad I finished the series! Like JT, I wish there was more, but I'm also happy where things ended.

I kept thinking that the tourmaline stone would show up again after Edwin threw it away. I thought someone would find it and use it against Lothar. I guess not, but I would have thought they'd at least bring one to the demon world. I guess the way Giselle walked (glided) was a red herring. It seemed like we were made to think she's an angel or something supernatural. Like shifter, I'm also kind of disappointed by the epilogue. Can't they still get together even though one is an angel and the other a demon? We have an epilogue for everyone but Edwin and Lothar! What does Edwin do after healing his sister (also how did he get to Earth? It doesn't seem like angels can blink like demons do. Even for Lothar it seemed like he needed to create a pact with someone to go to Earth). What does Lothar do after Edwin makes his decision? Do they both join the war?

Do their HP and MP regenerate passively? They seem to be very cautious of using up their MP before the boss, is this just for practice or are they unable to regen MP during the raid even in the safe zone before the boss?

What's a bunnip? I'm imagining a cross between a bunny and turnip, but that can't be right. And when I search it, it's not exactly cute.

I guess I was wrong about Mitchell. He's just a player in his 60s playing the game, haha. The developers are probably watching what's going on in the game. Makes me wonder if they added the community room because the players indicated the need for one.

I find that old man at the beginning interesting. At fourteen, maybe Stephan views people in their 30s or 40s "old" but maybe this person actually is an old man. But would someone in the 60s or 70s be playing a game like this? It makes me wonder if this is an NPC and if they're becoming more sentient.

I'm kind of confused with everything that was implied. Why wouldn't Asa and Luke still be friends? Were Asa and Luke in a relationship? If they were, what happened?

What was the incentive for those players to raid the Temple? I don't understand why they were so eager to go ahead without more support. Yeah I thought the same thing. Maybe it's a "feature" that has to be unlocked

I don't have Instagram, but these things usually prompt a password if you're doing something like deleting an account. Maybe she knows his email password and changed his Insta password by "forgot password." ...I feel so repetitive right now. password password password

Elsior's logic is "interesting". Why would the other kingdoms think that these dragons are Jhirdyr's fault for existing. It's also pretty funny that he had to have a villain's monologue. I also find the Sanguistis ability curious. How did it kill Elsior so quickly. Is it because he's a mage? Or maybe because he was currently using magic? Or was it because it got stabbed to the heart and pulled out energy from the host faster? Also, why did Harmon stab with the hilt end rather than the dagger end?

Interesting. So it seems like these people are also elves, assuming only elves live in all the Realms. Which Realm are they in and which Realm is Kieran's father in? It makes me wonder whether elves (assuming these people are elves) talk through their minds or whether it differs Realm by Realm.

I don't think so. Fasha is there to guide and help the people through the Trial, but ever since Neredos trapped all the demons into the pillars Fasha has just wanted to end the Trial while Neredos keeps extending it. It makes me wonder where Neredos got that spell to create those pillars. Did he discover it on his own? Or did Ghayle give it to him? If she did, she miscalculated and didn't realise he'd take advantage of the spell and use it for his own purpose rather than to trap and kill the demons.

I didn't expect Grim and Veil to pull someone back from death. I wonder how far along Neredos is with killing the demons. Is Grim and Veil aware of this? Others seems to be. But Fasha's not really the bad guy here. He's just trying to ensure the Trial is complete and will do anything it takes to finish it. But I wonder, what happens at the end of the Trial? If I remember correctly, it's supposed to unite everyone, but once Neredos finishes killing all the demons, not much would change.

Does Grim know Fasha is held in a pillar? Maxthane could easily kill Fasha now like Neredos is doing to the other demons, but it's in Maxthane's best interest to keep Fasha alive and show that it's not Salidar trapped in the pillar to the other Shades.

I suspect Veil or Grim would be able to re-attach his arm. This may be beyond Maxthane's own (current) abilities. They probably won't have any time to do so, but I wonder if there's any more golems and controlling armbands back at the temple. After Neredos kills all the demons, Fasha will probably want to confirm this himself when he's released (if given the chance, Maxthane will probably release him if he's the last demon). Fasha may be willing to die after he's confirmed the death of all demons. How will Krythe and the Shade react when they've been wrong and find out they've been trying to kill their real king? What would happen to the social structure of their city?

Well, they agreed not to use the whips which may not help against seventeen panthers and three griffins, but Kieran hasn't tried asserting dominance over them all.

Ooh, ominous, haha. You said something similarly ominous a few chapters back hinting that this world isn't as good as it seems. If the old man isn't on their side that places the group in a difficult position since they may not be able to fight off the panthers and griffins.

That's only if they're in the Elven world right now, but even if they are, the old man wouldn't know what's going on since the King has kept everything related to Kieran secret. I actually hope that the old man is an ally to the King. If he is an enemy of the King he wouldn't be helping Kieran or Kieran's friends if he found out Kieran's real identity. Maybe the old man would be able to help them get back to Earth using his own skills, but if not hopefully can redirect the group to the King who can send them back to Earth. Despite his actions, the King is still on Kieran's side and wants what's best for him.

Neredos seems to know Veil's secret of controlling other people's minds and maybe knows how she's lived so long. I wonder how he came to this conclusion. Grim's and Veil's meeting will be an interesting one. I wonder how long it's been since they've talked. Have they talked since she disowned him in the last book?
