  1. I was thinking of responding with that comment, myself. But then remembered we have children reading this (you know who you are, Drew)... And I also thought: "No need to bother saying it. Dughlas is bound to say it, anyway."
  2. * Marty grabs some popcorn and sits back to await the likely... ...between Clo and Val.
  3. Night, bro. Sweet dreams.
  4. Hi there, Page! Hope all's well in Pageland.
  5. I don't think Gary is really sharing them for the female members, @Sherye.... (Although Val and Clo might disagree)
  6. And the same right back at you, bro! I hope you're feeling better today. (And I thought that was a razor the guy was holding, at first...)
  7. Greetings, wee Cutie-Pi!
  8. I think he was considering suggesingt I have a Fragile ego...
  9. You do realize that you're implying @Sherye's grandmother pinched her bum cheeks, don't you? Texans... What do you expect?
  10. A strinkingly shaped mountain, Albert! It made me think of this one, which is only about a dozen or so miles away from me: It's called Benwiskin. It's Irish name is Binn Mhaoiscin. Binn means "a peak" or "a cliff". I'm not sure what the second part (Mhaoiscin) means, but it might come from the Irish word meascán, which means "a lump" or "a jumble". Every time I see it from that angle, I am put in mind of a breaking wave.
  11. Happy Saturday, everyone! There's a strange yellowy-orange ball of light in the sky here, today. And parts of the sky have turned an unusual blue colour. Not only that, but the day has this odd brightness about it. I think it might be an alien invasion.
  12. So Gary's younger than you?
  13. Sleep well, Gary! Hope you feel better when you wake up.
  14. I'm away to bed soon. But I notice @Sherye moved us on to page 1900.
  15. One for the nerds amongst us...
  16. Flirt away, ma Sherye. It'll get you nowhere with me, as it happens. Except to stoke my already overinflated ego.
  17. Correct! That, too.
  18. I'm only 73. Still in the prime of my life!
  19. It's totally clear! Totally, and absolutely! Delivery people over here do have a tendency to throw parcels about a lot, you know.
  20. When I taught second level in England, I used to tell the kids that I had a zip in the back of my head, and always left my brain at home before heading to school, as it was the only way I knew of facing the little terrors darlings each day. I think some of them actually believed me.
