Sounds delicious. I was a little less adventurous. Steamed some home grown potato, carrot, and swede, and then mashed them all to a delicious fluffiness using butter and fresh milk (added freshly chopped parsley and freshly ground black peppercorns before mashing). Served them with steamed shredded cabbage and baked beans. Filled a hole, at least.
