Been a slightly productive day... Firstly, I managed to finish a bit of editing for someone this afternoon. But, more importantly, I actually managed to get a bit of writing done as well, and Chapter Four of my story Fragments of Sean has now been uploaded. Yay, me!

Morning all, Slightly overcast, but dry at the moment. Currently 13 degrees Celsius (just after 10am). Forecast for good daytime weather for the next week, but it could be cold at nights. Just finishing breakfast. Then need to borrow the key for the new property from the estate agent (realtor). A friend of mine who works in building renovation (joiner by trade) is going to check out the old house I'm buying and give me some advice later today.

I've just finished reading @CassieQ's Not The Sun, trilogy (and a damn good read it was as well)... So if I'm the enabler, does that mean that Gary is the creator?

I knew exactly what you meant, Gary. Just on the off chance, I'll not throw away the wonky tables and chairs... Wanna help me decorate the hall, stairs and landing, Gary? The gutters (or 'eave runs' as they call them round here) will need cleaning as well. I'll hold the ladder.

I'm sure I'll have a housewarming party once the renovations are finished... Of course, they may ever get fully finished. Some of the work may need me to hire someone much younger than me. But if he sweats too much there's a wonderful walk in shower that he can share with me. It is fairly big, isn't it? (The house, you perves!) Glad to see you all noticed the amazing staircase. The staircase, hallway and upstairs landing, and the high ceilings (most with amazing architraves) were part of what sold it to me; but most important was the gardens (and the stone cottage. I'll do what I can myself, Gary, but I'll have to get help for a lot of it. Thanks, Page. And "Hi" back at you.

Okay guys, it's taken me 3 days to get back to this, but here's some photographs stolen off the website that advertised the property for sale: I'm currently awaiting further information that my solicitor has requested from the vendor's solicitor, before signing final contracts.

Very well crafted tale. I'll be interested to see just how much time has passed on earth since the two of them left and the time they return - assuming that's where they are Going Home to (title of the next chapter). I'd not be surprised to find that it will have been very little time indeed - and that their families haven't had time to actually miss them... Ah well, I guess I'll just have to click on the next chapter to find out.

Hopefully Brandon will now be able to face the fear that has been consuming him. I can't help wondering whether the use of the pronoun they signified anything more than simply the fact that we weren't told the gender of the child who was fishing...

Let's just hope Jordan's 'You've got to get me out of here' was only referring to the room with the piano. Just at the moment he doesn't seem to be in any fit state to enable the pair of them back home...
