The staircase, hallway and upstairs landing, and the high ceilings (most with amazing architraves) were part of what sold it to me; but most important was the gardens (and the stone cottage. Okay guys, it's taken me 3 days to get back to this, but here's some photographs stolen off the website that advertised the property for sale: I'm currently awaiting further information that my solicitor has requested from the vendor's solicitor, before signing final contracts.

Very well crafted tale. I'll be interested to see just how much time has passed on earth since the two of them left and the time they return - assuming that's where they are Going Home to (title of the next chapter). I'd not be surprised to find that it will have been very little time indeed - and that their families haven't had time to actually miss them... Ah well, I guess I'll just have to click on the next chapter to find out.

Hopefully Brandon will now be able to face the fear that has been consuming him. I can't help wondering whether the use of the pronoun they signified anything more than simply the fact that we weren't told the gender of the child who was fishing...

Let's just hope Jordan's 'You've got to get me out of here' was only referring to the room with the piano. Just at the moment he doesn't seem to be in any fit state to enable the pair of them back home...

I still have my doubts that Dane's father was not responsible for the car crash. But I suppose that, unless and until Dane's memory of the accident comes back, we may never know...
