The Arts Tower had only been opened in the previous year. It was a twenty story building just across the road from the Students' Union building, to one side, and slightly behind, the old red-brick university buildings where we were doing our Integrated Biology course. It is often said that Sheffield was modelled after Rome, having been built on seven hills. Good afternoon, all! Weather reasonably dry here at the moment. Warm (around 17°C, or 63°F) but not much sun. Had a bit of a busy morning, organising a club meeting for tonight, and getting a slideshow together to be shown at it. But at least I can relax now for a few hours.

And how's the shoulder? It's a bit of a wet day here. Heavy rain earlier, bit dry but completely cloudy at the moment. 18°C (64.4°F) at the moment (5:30pm), although the current forecast is predicting a return to blue skies and maybe temps as high as the mid-twenties by the weekend.

I cheated slightly. Although I knew what meant (I taught second level in England for 15+ years), I simply Googled it and most of what wrote I simply copied and pasted from a wikipedia article (just to save me time typing)
