  1. Maybe send him a large book of blank drawing paper as well. He needs something to practice his crayoning on. I hear his daddy reckons he's too old to be scribbling on the walls nowadays. Actually, scratch that idea. Might be wiser get him one of those where there are lots of numbers that he has to join up in order to make the pictures. There'd be a greater chance others might actually recognise what he's trying to draw.
  2. Page, my man! How ya doing?
  3. Hey, Gary. How's the arm/shoulder today?
  4. It's unlikely this new story will be put online any time soon. I've two current stories already started here on GA. I'd like to get at least one of those fully finished before starting to upload a third one.
  5. I'm good thanks. Just been writing. A new story I'm hoping to develop into something worth sharing eventually. It was originally intended as a short piece to submit for the recent Snapped GA Anthology. Unfortunately it grew legs and refused to simply be a short story. Gonna head out shopping soon.
  6. Hi, Albert. How are you, today?
  7. Thanks, Bob! Morning, Gary Hey, Xan Hey, dugh!
  8. Good night, gang!
  9. Page, my man! How the divil are ye?
  10. Yea. Considering Pride weekend has just ended, I thought it was particularly apt.
  11. Hey Drew-pi-doo
  12. This was one of over 40 pictures I took of this lake (Lough Talt, Co Sligo). It was the only one where the light actually did what I wanted it to.
  13. According to his profile, he has not logged into GA since June 14th...
  14. Afternoon, Gary. I think someone suggested a few weeks ago that you could maybe try a speech-to-text type of a program. It may help, at least as far as the initial typing is concerned, but you'd probably still need to use the keyboard to correct the inevitable mistakes the program may make. Although I'm amazed nowadays at how well Google search tends to recognise my voice when I use it. Seems like the algorithm is a lot better than when I tried one of those programs years ago... But if you do need to go back to using crayons, I'm sure Drew would let you borrow some of his. He might even give you a refresher course in using them, if you've got a bit rusty. And, yes, as you say: patience, Gary. (As my grandpappy used to tell me:'Patience is a virtue, sometimes found in man.')
  15. Hey spikey! And here's some post-emptive and specially from me to you.
  16. Hey, Bobster Just catching up on a bit of reading here. Then I may go out for a walk with Trusty Nikon (my camera), as there should be some nice light this afternoon. Hoping to get a bit of writing done this evening. But I'm always ready for an eventful day.
  17. Albert!! Hope you're well today, my young friend.
  18. Well it's after midnight here, so I think it's time for my beauty sleep. But, because it's after midnight, that means June is over for another year. In that case, I'll leave yous all with one of my favourite songs, just for the day that's in it....
  19. Works both ways, Gary... So thanks for the lovely comment(s) you left on my chapter as well
  20. And that's what I really meant when I mentioned public decency.
  21. Oh god, the thought of it....
