  1. Cheers, bro. Had I cut back that hedge along the side of the upper garden, I could even have a bare nice day outside... Although the lower garden isn't overlooked...
  2. I've just transplanted some Hollyhock seedlings into 3 inch (7.5cm) pots. They should provide a stunning display next year.
  3. Greetings, young Albert.
  4. Happy Monday, all! Another beautiful day. So don't expect to see much of me for the most of it.
  5. Night all! Just remember this: You're never too old to rock and roll .... If you're too young to die.
  6. Can I ask that you include "to good homes only" at the end of that sign?
  7. And you have a great Monday, bro!
  8. Careful there, Gary... He looks like he could crush you just by looking at you.
  9. Hey, Gary. You guessed right. And as well as doing some work in the garden, I also spent some time sat in a garden chair soaking up the sun and reading a book. First time I've done that since moving in to this place.
  10. Greetings, young Albert.
  11. Happy Sunday, everyone. Another beautiful day here, with the temperature currently (1:30pm) 20°C/68°F and due to rise by a degree (C) or two as the day progresses. It's even forecast for the good weather to continue until at least the middle of the week.
  12. I'm away to my bed, gang... I'll leave you with the following:
  13. Greetings, young Albert.
  14. Same right back at you, bro! Warmed up here, and sunny, as well. Tomorrow's promised even better. Looks like Ireland's going to get a two-day summer this year.
  15. The title reminded me of this Tom Waits' song from his 1980 album Heartattack And Vine...
  16. Great minds, bro. Great minds.
  17. *shrug* Not especially.
  18. Sometimes you really do say the nicest things.
  19. Oddly enough, I hadn't realised you weren't posting in here... Maybe that's because you've been keeping me annoyed amused (!) in LPW.
  20. *shrug* Not especially.
  21. Erm, yes.... But you must have been a very slow grower in your childhood. What age were you when you finally reached puberty? 20-plus ?
  22. I was the middle child of seven kids. I thought it was great, and always felt sorry for only children. Mind you my eldest brother once dated a girl who had ten siblings. Even after they stopped dating she would often call round to our house. She said it was because she could actually hear herself think at ours...
