  1. As Gary says, Myr is looking into it. It is being discussed at the following link:
  2. The Border Collie I had very quickly learned what "Stay" meant. He wouldn't leave the spot he was in until he was given permission after being given that command. Would even do it for others who might be looking after him. But I had him from when he was eight weeks old, when it was so much easier to train him. If I remember correctly, I think you said you got Cookie as a rescue dog when she was much older...
  3. I fully understand your worry. Fingers crossed she'll be okay, as I'm sure she will be.
  4. You could always buy a rooted one in a pot, and plant it out somewhere after christmas...
  5. There are enough remote forestry plantations on the mountains near me... (I'll say no more, for fear of self incrimination)
  6. I just hope that, if they're having hot dogs at the BBQ, that they're not thinking of using Cookie as apart of the recipe... (Sorry, just couldn't resist)
  7. Brilliant news, Bob! Thanks for letting us know.
  8. Smuckers? That a store? Or a brand?
  9. Hey, Gary! Good to hear. Hope all's well with you, and the arm/shoulder's continuing to heal.
  10. Why, thank you, young Albert! You've just made an old man very happy! You say the nicest things. 0:)
  11. No.... But your profile picture looks like you might be standing next to water...
  12. I am indeed, Albert! Thanks for asking.
  13. Looks like you misunderstood me, Bob. The strawberries were home grown, but the dairy ice cream was store bought. Sowwie!
  14. Hey, young Albert Hope all's well with you, my friend.
  15. I keep forgetting about all the time differences between us all. Well, I hope you had a great day, then!
  16. Not yet. We might go out later and chase some light. Otherwise, I've a walk planned around a small lough in the Ox Mountains tomorrow. TN will be with me for that and, assuming the light behaves itself, I'm expecting to he'll prove his worth. You anything exciting planned for the day?
  17. G'day, Bucket
  18. I enjoyed this story the first time round, and will continue to do so. The interesting thing was that Nick originally intended the first chapter to be a stand alone chapter. The readers were that enthralled by it that they begged him to continue the story of Andrew and Ian's blossoming relationship. I don't think anyone was disappointed when Nick decided to do just that.
  19. Morning, all! A bit more cloudy than yesterday here in the West of Ireland. But still dry and currently a pleasant 15°C/59°F, which will probably rise 3 or 4 degrees C before the end of the day. Hope everyone's well.
  20. After worrying that the strawberries were going to stay green forever, the current very welcome spell of sunny weather has them all ripening at once. If you lived closer you would be welcome to some of them. As it is, I may just finish up having to make jam with the excess. 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓 🍓
  21. It's currently coming up to 10:20 pm here in the West of Ireland. The sun's not long since set, so I'm sitting outside in the gathering dusk. The temperature's a balmy 15°C (59°F) and there's a lovely red glow on the horizon, marking the sunset. Tucking in to a bowl of strawberries (from my own plants) and real dairy vanilla ice cream. 🍓 Heaven on earth!
  22. Good evening, Gary! Well it doesn't seem as though you were that busy that you tired him out. Hope he didn't make you do all the lifting.
  23. The usual problem with transplants is trying to prevent the host body from rejecting the transplanted donor organ. In this case, though, there's a distinct possibility that the donated brain would reject the host body it had been transplanted into...
  24. No you're not. You're stereotyping!
