Let's hope that's not just a case of self deception on your part, Kitt...
I'm not melting yet. But the weather is showing some signs of improvement. Who knows, Ireland might just get a summer this year..
Ooops! I read that as giant bender to begin with.
Hey, duggy!
How's it going, young Bertie?
Sean almost never seemed to be where he said he would be.
Hopefully this time it was simply because I had arrived about ten minutes early.
There were double yellow lines painted each side of the road near the bank preventing me from parking immediately in front of it. So I made a left turn, drove down Dublin Road and managed to find a parking spot a hundred yards or so down, just outside the offices of the Tuam Herald newspaper.
Exiting and locking the car, I started to roll a cigare
Well good to see you, anyway.
Sorry to hear about your mum. Dementia can be so difficult. And so often it's the family that suffers the most.
I really need to get to bed. It's well after midnight here. Chat yous all later.
Yea, I'm a very long time on GA. But was AWOL for getting on for ten years.
Only started CotT-ing since about February.
So it's really me that's the newcomer.
I think just because of the sheer introspection that it contained.
Much of the chapter up to this point had been involved in an almost technical explanation of all the steps and problems involved in setting up everything for the .revenge surprise attack in the morning. So this paragraph almost sounded like poetry when it appeared.

Now, I wonder what Boney's going say in morning?
Odd how, especially when there was so much happening in this chapter, that paragraph was the one that really caught my attention.
I can envision so many ways that set up could be used...
Chances are the one that @Geron Kees comes up with will be one that I didn't envision.
And i had to laugh at the scene involving Deputy Dawg and his secret (but not so secret any more) fling.
