Wow what a weird ending with all the weird marriages and birthdays ! i would have thought that Elliot , Holly,... would be back home. unusual birthday for an unusual time ! hopefully the castaway hotel is big 🙂 and that there is a tree house ! i saw in news families living in small appartments : don’t know how they manage to keep sane 🙈 so elliot, ian, holly, ryan and noah are still in quarantine ? and no slice of that chocolate chip cake for them ? 😬 (what a huge work to manage the whole family cases !) excellent chapter 👍 -
indeed not brian’s usual stories, and like 84Mags said : i read because of brian, otherwise i might not have started reading the story 😬 no cliffhanging ? that’s not usual too 😂

not only only on ship, bells signal time, monasteries too (praying times). and in ancient China, a « gong ringer » walk in streets all night and hit the gong every « hour ». that would a great idea for the Castaway Hotel 😁 i already can see the boys hitting the bell to wake up the whole family on Xmas to open the xmas gifts 😂 -

it is great to have more dialogue between those characters we don’t often see 😍 i like a lot Nicky and Jordan, especially when they did their trick to force their parents to accept Josh & Jack’s relationship. so Nicky might take care of the Curries financials once Mark retired ? 🙂 btw : « After I finished doing that, he had something else to tell me. » weren’t Trey supposed to be the narrator ? 😬 awesome chapter ! 👍 -

yes good bye to Rev. Kirk. though he was only a secondary character, he was a good one. the Curries need to build some extra rooms for events like thanksgiving or xmas 😆 they should buy some yurts : easy to set up and to fold 😉 they could also have a garage they can convert into extra room 😬 2020 ? so we need buy some tissues box ? how many ? 😱 an excellent chapter as usual 👍 -

besides staying safe, it seems that eating vitamin D (fishes like salmons, butter,..) helps to prevent against covid. but like any vitamins, don’t abuse them (except vitamin C because our body eliminate the excesses through our kidneys) and remember they are destroyed when you cook them 😬 -

lol i didn’t have that kind of problem, since the meeting was between Josh and the new pastor, i was expecting Josh to be the narrator : Trey reporting the dialogue between them would be kind of weird and imo hard to set for any story if the writer isn’t familiar with the way to do it. Most of the time, when a story was told by a narrator, it is easier that he is not one of the characters. Bill did a really good job with switching between Trey and Josh ! 👍 -

Wow the meeting with Rev.Belec went fast ! And as suspected, he was a homophobic pastor. Well , he is not a big loss but he will lose big ! the regional Council should have fired him 😡 Seems Rev. Kirk knew how the meeting would end since he already thought of a new church for the Curries. excellent chapter ! 👍 -
