How wonderful that Milan doesn't get to miss out on yet another day doing fun things. Rory's visit surely had to be the furthest thing from his mind. I especially liked the dialogue: are you try to scare me away? Is it working? No! Unique in a weird way? Unique in an attractive way.

Poor Rory. I don't think he will get to spend enough time with Milan until he gets to school. Milan is about to get a New Kid at School experience like no other.

Yes having someone staring into your bedroom for 3 days would freak anyone out. Best not let that slip until your bosom buddies Rory. And Milan knowing that Rory is going to be on the lookout for him at school, courtesy of his mom, is sure to put a wall of independence between them to begin with. Can't wait to see what happens at the new years eve party.

So now the story comes to life. You could really feel the raw passion in Rory's desire to be with his mate. Topher and Matt did well to keep the future Alpha in check on this occasion. Its good to see that despite his frailty Milan was spirited enough to raise his chin up towards his threat and not be cowed into submission. Can't wait to see these two meet up in person. Whatever will Milan make of Rory?

Ayu is a great brother for taking care of Milan. I don't think I'd risk a sick child of mine in a North American winter. Milan's mother is a nurse too and consented to it. There has to be more to explain why they have taken such a rash action. And using experimental drugs on your son. Really? Who was the white wolf? Was it Connor drawn to Milan's Mandarin scent or the pack Alpha? I think Milan will become so sick that a blood transfusion into werewolf may become his only realistic chance of survival. My money is on Rory having to administer the procedure. No real idea about what Biosense are working on but it sounds like DNA genetic engineering would be a large part of their business. And being so close to a werewolf community, they could already be unravelling that DNA code with the help of a captive local or a rogue werewolf.

Interesting start.

Congratulations on winning the writing challenge Geron. Luke's grandfather clearly knew Luke's heart, as well anyone. It was befitting that he provided Luke with the perfect gift, that would stop Luke walking around blindly and to start observing those around him. That the camera went from being viewed as an unwanted gift, to becoming the instrument that sighted his blind, unseeing heart was a great tale in the telling and hopefully one that Luke will have a lifetime of fond memories for.

Chapter 2 - The Next Night "Bailey?" He whispered softly. "Bailey...are you asleep yet?" "Mmmmh, David!" Bailey mumbled in his sleep. David poked Bailey on the cheek, just to make sure. Nothing stirred, except for something beneath the bed sheet. David went to investigate and was delighted with what he saw. Old blue eyes was back. Brown eyes recognised a challenge when he saw one. Just how much more could Bailey endure while he remained asleep? It was a game that both were adamant they could win. **************************************** Sorry C, for this fan filler. Great story Uplifted Spirit. I was surprised by Matt's change of heart in the final scene and willingness to engage sexually with Andy. Was it was the only way in which Matt believed he could truly show his love for Andy? This story ended up being a lot darker than I was originally expecting. I almost stopped reading when i stopped liking the selfish arrogant character that Andy had become. But my curiosity killed my cat. I had to know how it would all play out. I agree with others that believe Matt made a big mistake giving whisky to a recovering alcoholic. I think he would have been better consoling Andy with just some hugs and kisses. The rest, I think Matt was doing as much for himself, as Andy. You're pretty good at providing interesting analysis and dialogue on some dark and difficult situations and I'm always interested in being challenged on how I view the world.

Boy did I get that wrong about Dillon being a predator. I found it really odd that Dillons mom made a point of saying that Matt was good looking. I'm beginning to wonder if Dillons parents are his abusers. What if his dad raped Dillon and has not stopped or worse still is using Dillon to attract more young good looking boys to the trap. I really can't believe that Matt didn't blow the whistle on Dillon and have him arrested at the party. He would have been protecting Andy even if he didn't appreciate it at first. I suppose he didn't want everyone to know what Andy's role was in all of this. But is it worth it to leave one or more predators running free? The best approach for Matt may be to leave it for Andy to decide.

I wonder if Dillon is going to try to get Matt to take better care of Andy once he breaks off his liaison with him on his 18th birthday. Doesn't need to be the full sex thing; maybe more discreet hugs, hand holding and the occassional kiss. Would a best friend be prepared to go that far?

I think Dillon has gone up a little in my estimation. Yes I think he should have found someone closer to his own age but it's not like there were many other gays known around school. I think Andy was for a long time desperate to experience sex with with another male and it had been driving him to distraction. Especially when he couldn't persuade his best friend to experiment with him. Dillon maybe acting in his own interests in terminating their sexual activities but legally it's the right thing to do. Also, they have been equally sharing in all type of sexually activity so it's not not that Andy has been used any more than he is using Dillon. The main issue, as I see it, is that I fear Andy is far more emotionally invested in this relationship than Dillon but I sense that just maybe, the tide is turning their too for Dillon.

I think this boy on boy sexperimenting is something that Andy needed to go through. Its not something i could see ending well but the thought of it has been haunting Andy's mind for several years now. He wont really know a large part of himself until he tries. It might just quell his hunger and allow him to calm his sex drive down or, at least, let him know where he wants to focus his personal interests.

So we hear from Dillon's Dad that Dillon as trained up several boys before. What an altruist. I wonder how long it will be before he gets fed up with Matt, no I mean Andy. I think strange things are already happening here which are being called love. Its not going to end well for Andy but I wonder what state he will be left in when it's over?

Wow there's a lot going on in this chapter. The opening Andy section made me laugh. I get the issue with Andy now. It was Joan that broke him in more ways than one. Introducing him to aggressive sex or unleashing what Andy couldnt contain. Either way Andy discovered that he needed that aggression to get turned on. No wonder he was never going to be satisfied with any of the nice girls or Emily who had decided not to put out after the night in the park. There would be no half measures for Andy. It was that same need for aggressive sex that would have been the catalyst for the 12 point seduction plan. This is the part that threw me. Up until then Andy could get excited by very little from Matt. The site of Matt's naked body or touch of his sweaty chest had him aroused. Andy's need for aggressive uncaring sex had now extended to his best friend. That is broken when your friend hasn't even fully commited to taking the first step to knotting his sexuality and is loathe to do so. However, I did really enjoy this chapter for something else though. There was a lot of in depth analysis on what motivates our sexual interest and how that can manifest itself. Its a very confusing time to try and make sense of all the feelings and interests. This chapter goes a long way to explaining part of that quagmire. It allows us all to more accepting of Andys bad behaviour. Especially now that he appears to have settled down and learnt from it. As to which of our guys is gay, BI or straight, it's still too early to tell. Andy's definitely into active aggressive sex and thinks he'd enjoy boys more than girls. And Matt's being the sensible one and realising that puberty is all about dealing with raging hormones that are out of control and liable to make you do things you may later regret. He wants to be the one in control when he eventually decides. I think the thought of sex without love repulses him and he left Andys bed because the emotional side was missing.

Andy had a lot of growing up to do and this break forced him to do it the hard way. Being a star Quarterback allowed him to be popular even though no one really liked his arrogance. In losing the QB role Andy was then forced to deal with the person he really was, the spoilt brat used to having everything given to him on a plate. From now on Andy was going to have to work for the things that he most cared about in life, both on the sports field and especially his friendships. The good news is that after punching out his frustrations on his best friend Matt, Andy now seems ready for the challenge and ready to avoid the mistakes of the past.

The 12 point seduction plan makes Andy seem way more manipulative than I originally thought him capable. I know 14 year olds have difficulties grasping the concept of love but concern for another person and particularly your BFF, ought to be something of which they are capable. None of the points in the plan are concerned with how Matt will feel just how he may react and counter measures that may be necessary. It's a pretty selfish and ruthless plan and Andy's pretty lucky to still have Matt's trust as his best friend. The sad thing is that if Andy hadn't been such an ass, they both could have both begun a journey of opening up and being honest about what eachother felt. It was a time to talk not act out some heartless scheme. They may remain BFF but the fish in the sea indicates they'll be nothing more.

Wow i wasnt expecting things to turn out exactly the way they did. I had forseen Matt going home. I think Andy's brash arrogance and insensitivity was way too much for Matt. If Andy had been more considerate of Matt's confused state and started slow: not naked and an easy chat. I think it could have lead to somewhere during the course of the night. Maybe a hand on the chest and abs and maybe even a kiss. But Andy is such a brat right now he thinks he can take whatever he wants. He'll no doubt be disappointed in the morning but it could just be the wake up call he needs to realise that people are not just there for his amusement. People have feelings too.

Andy's attitude has been steadily deteriorating since he became JV Quarterback. He really has become an obnoxious arrogant ass in the way he mistreated Emily in front of everyone. He was even insensitive in the way he embarrassed Matt lifting and holding his shirt up for Jane to see. It's like he owns everyone. I half expected Matt to walk home in disgust and to teach Andy a lesson. I suppose the nights still early and that could yet happen. Andy needs to wise up soon.

It's all getting more intriguing now. The complexity of how young inexperienced boyfriends and girlfriends can view eachother. I like how we are getting to see how the relationships are developing for both the aggressive and the passive partners. And how girls view the developments compared to the boys. Great read. You're really getting behind the minds as well the actions of these 14 year olds.

I thought it would be good for best friends to pair off with eachother but Matt and Andy seem to be taking pleasure in embarrassing eachother in front of their girlfriends. Theres no real harm done and they should have a lot of tales to laugh about, later on. Naturally, they are just tensed up about not appearing super cool and attaining some impossibly high pre-conceived standard, right now. What they do have, is the perfect opportunity to practice kissing eachother under the guise of swapping kissing tips that work best. Really natural story telling US. Looking forward to the rest.

Emily giving Andy two different numbers for Matt to call Gina. Who knows if it was a typo or something that Emily would get a kick out of? Matt and Andy testing the waters out with the girls but getting more openly vocal about their attraction for eachother. They are increasingly more comfortable with calling eachother homo. It's like it's gone beyond normal boys bravado and into testing the title to see how well the shoe fits. They are almost at their first kiss.

Yeah that was some more great banter between Matt and Andy on the training field. Andy is getting increasingly more touchy feely with Matt's chest. Matt has surely got to start thinking there may be something more to this soon. Funny that Andy is mislead into thinking that Matt had more confidence than Andy to ask his girlfriend out. Andy is so self assured around Matt and happy to make that known. Gina is already considering the possibility of an Andy Matt gay guy thing and is perturbed that Matt is thinking of Andy at the start of their date. You make a good point of all the things you have to think about saying and not saying on a boy girl date. It's so much harder when you can't just be yourself.

It makes it so much easier when a pair of girls match up with a pair of guys like this. I remember playing sports and doing practically everything together with my older cousin until I was 14. He then met a girl and virtually disappeared off the face of the earth. Being from an all boys school, I had no idea how to approach the whole girlfriend thing. Yes, pairing off like this would have been so much easier and I'm guessing pretty rare. Thoroughly enjoying the story and the engaging characters. All behaving very credibly.

It's amasing what influence one individual can have on a groups outlook. If it wasn't for Gina, Emily could have easily spread her arrogant contempt among the two lads. But Gina strong considerate personality was there to provide the better role model. The boys seem happy enough with the girls right now but it's clear that they are more turned on by eachother, though neither is prepared to admit it. Great read US
