    Chapter 1

Congratulations on a very well written first story Geron. You dealt sympathetically and realistically with the issue of best friends coping with being separated in their youth. The ages are a personal matter that everyone must decide for themselves. I personally have no issue as I know this is published for its artistic merits and not to promote sex at a younger age. Like many people here, having been a 13 year old boy once, I'm only too aware that if I wasn't sexually active with another person at that age, that it wasn't for the want of imagination and the desire to be so. In terms of your stated objectives to use this as a vehicle for learning to write about the discovery of friendship and love and, well - sex, I commend you on a valiant first effort.

    Prime Scrolls

Thats so cool having someone to help explain the game to you. It's normally frustrating figuring out what you need to know. I can see how Kyle will make good friends with a helper like Jacob/Garyn. Garyn dousing Gaius with water when he popped the bubble was both funny and graphic, emphasising the physicality that this was something more than mere VR. Kyle/Gaius is fascinated with Jacobs real world fighting experience. Yet another plus in the Elf's favour. The first being that he's an Elf and a helpful one at that. 😉 Fascinating story. Anything could happen and hopefully will.

I'm intrigued by the possibilities of a VR game that appears this real. Interesting concept. Will they ever meet up in the real world or will they become addicted to living in the Virtual world?

    Chapter 19

Thanks for commenting and reacting Sui. It was a fun romantic mystery. 😘
  7. Morningstar was one of my first Shifter stories. Numerous Shifter stories later, it's only now that I realise: I was drinking Champagne at the time. This entire Shifter world: its' mysteries, ethos and traditions, must have been painstakingly put together by the author. Only then did he release such a wonderful protagonist in the form of Kellar and gave him such an incredibly rich set of people to meet, love and care for. Romanticists will not be disappointed. It's not all plain sailing. There are numerous challenges to be overcome, mysteries to be solved and those, that will need to be confronted. But miss this and you've only yourself to blame 😘
  8. An interesting tale about how Milan, a "bubble tent" boy manages to cope when his medical pioneering workaholic father relocates to a rural North American winter climate. Will love and some old earth wisdom be enough to rescue Milan from his isolated and friendless despair? Read it to find out. I doubt youll be disappointed.

    Chapter 2

It doesn't seem like Colton is going to be much of a one for dating or even talking. He already thinks he owns Parkers ass. Maybe not a romance 😉

    Chapter 1

A variety of interesting characters that are clearly going to be both good and bad for Parker. Shell is great friend and it's great they have eachother in the wake of absentee parents, or to give them their proper title: biological ancestors. Having a pool facing into a forest doesn't sound much like hard times to me. I think I'm going to enjoy this Wolfie.
  11. There's that whole spectrum thing. It starts with all the wild, uninhibited possibilities that we secretly speculate about with our best mates; that's mainly for fun and bravado. Next, is a more realistic scenario: what we personally think we may be capable of doing or at least wish we were capable of doing, given the right circumstances. But then actuality dawns, and we begin to despise ourselves, for ending every hopeful possibility, with the lamest of responses. "g'night". Really? It's enough to make you fairly ashamed of yourself, right now! And yet, which one of us, hasn't ever been there, and many times over?
  12. Ha, this is a great set up. Silas is like the little devil on Jamie's shoulder. It would be hard for Jamie to trust his own judgement right now with Mr. Mega Hormones next to him jumping all over his ears and mind. Best wait till tomorrow and casually amble over to Ricky's and be all neighbourly like.
  13. With so many things seeking his demise, in the old wild west, 25 year old Wiley Burch finds refuge in the most unexpected of places. Why is he being chased and what, if anything, can his young rescuer possibly do, to help him. The author introduces us to a number of endearing young pioneers that hold the answers to many of these questions and there's quite a few undesirables out there too. A lot more happens than you have a right to expect for such a short story and there's an intriguing twist or two to be discovered. Its a great read. The fact that it was one of the author's self-professed personal favourites was enough of a draw for me.

    Chapter 1

This old western was a novel and interesting read for me. It certainly all appeared authentic, and once you started talking about different horses. Who was I to argue? cholo… meant he was part Spanish mustang mixed with a Palouse Indian horse. I was surprised at just how much the story covered in that short amount of time, as we became aware of the lives of Wiley, Cletus and Cooper over the past few months. Not only that but intriguingly, how their lives had been so closely and unexpectedly intertwined over that time-frame too. A really interesting twist. As you'd expect, it exposed a lot of the brutality of the times, including how hired hands could be used by powerful people to hunt and kill the people who didn't fit in. I especially liked the stitching part. It illustrated the hardship of the old West and Cooper's dry humour, at the same time. “So, you sewed someone up before?” “Yeah ... Just like working with a hide unless they’re awake. Then it gets real noisy. I was lucky you got your head cracked. You stayed quiet.” There were plenty of tense moments when the hired killers caught up to them and just how many young men have nearly fallen prey into the ravenous clutches of a cougar. I felt for Wiley and his experiences with Cletus. Wiley had entered that relationship completely with his heart, only to have it repeatedly broken by Cletus who was only in it for fun. Ironic that two of Cletus's biggest victims of his misbehaviour should be brought together and gain solace through it. There was so much more to hope for in the end though. Wiley had his homestead and Cooper his grandfather's inheritance that would allow them build a great life together doing what they both love as horse ranchers. And all this free from the constraints that others have and would have placed on them. Its a great short and I do so like a happy ending G or did I just imagine that?

    Chapter 14

Great ending to a great story. It's fortunate Sean didn't make a move on Dan. I think Dan was drooling by the time he left Steven's bedroom. All's well that ends well!

    Chapter 13

If Steven and Sean get together Dan will lose the pressure to console Steven. I'm pretty sure that they were the types of kisses that Dan gave Steven when at camp and why Dan felt he could be so honest and upfront with Adam. As i say, Dan's a bit naive to think that Adam could distinguish a consolation kiss from a kiss of passion. Hope that it's Bryce who is about to get his Karma. Steven has had more than his fair share of bad Karma now. He then needs to kick his dads ass too and get him to show some respect 😉

    Chapter 12

I just cant imagine a parent disowning their child for who they are. Dan's mum was great and so was his dad, after he had time to process the possibilities of a strange new situation. Stevens father was an utter disgrace. Of course, Steven now sharing a house and even a bed with Dan is going to create a whole new set of temptations for them both. Dan will have to be careful of what and how he reports things to Adam. There are ways of telling things and Dan is given to being blunt in his honesty, in a way that incriminates him. He needs to be more tactful and first provide all the backgroud information that show him in a good light first. The biggest danger of course, is that Steven will make a continuous play for Dan, hoping to win Dan over. And what if Dan discovers he can love Steven in the same way he loves Adam?
  19. Guest034229

    Chapter 11

I totally understand Adams frustrations that Dan keeps kissing Steven and saying it doesn't matter. Of course it does. Adam is clearly jealous of the more innocent friendship that Dan and Steven have too. In the end, Adam has been able to draw on his greater experience and realise that Dan isnt dishonest but just hasn't had a chance to process what is going on with Steven, now that he has come out. Giving Dan a month to test the waters with Steven is the only way to know if Dan sees the grass as greener on rhe other side and is able to commit to a long term relationship with Adam. There is a real risk that Dan might hit it off with his lifelong friend and if he does at least Adam will know where he stands in four weeks. I really liked the angry sex scene in Dan's tent. You can analyse that on so many levels. Maybe Adam marking his Alpha territory and getting payback for all the things Dan has and may be getting up to with Steven. Consenting to being punished can be hot too, I think. And if Dan breaks it up at least that will be a small gratifying memory for Adam to have finished on. Finally, as for the note having been read by his mom. That's probably not a bad thing. At least his mom now knows he's gay and has a boy that he's in love with. The fact that she let her son sleep on means she's clearly not upset by it either. I'm just wondering if Dan will experiment with Steven and if so he's likely to be honest and tell Adam what he did. How tolerant will Adam be and where will he draw the line, if anywhere, for them getting back together?

    Chapter 10

Wow has anyone got an idea how this will all end? The only ones that can possibly be thinking that 'Camping can be fun', are those on the sites next to these guys. Its drama by the hour

    Chapter 9

I'm surprised that they are putting Steven under any pressure to confess tonight. Yes he's done something horrible but it's Dan's best friend. If he's considered suicide already tonight and tried to kill himself who is to say he won't try it again when he is alone with his thoughts during the night. It's like they've never considered that as a possibility. Dan has a good heart but his naivete has shown through quite a few times. Still it's been a riveting read throughout. I wonder how they are going to get Steven, Lisa and Dan home safe and sound tomorrow? It's like that conundrum about the hound the fox and the chicken having to cross the stream in a boat made for 2 but the fox and the chicken and the hound and the fox can not be left alone with eachother or they'll kill one another. One creature is always needed to manage the boat. How do they all get across? I can't wait to read the answer 🤔
  22. Guest034229

    Chapter 8

I thought Steven may contemplate suicide once he realized the gravity of what he had done. Having to face up to being a rapist, alienating the friend he has secretly loved, confessing to having misled Lisa and did I mention, facing up to being gay when everyone thought he was straight. Camping can be fun? You've really got to laugh at that title now.

    Chapter 7

I'm just going to say ditto to what faxity said. I've literally no idea how each chapter is going to unfold. I just know we will be put through a whole range of emotions including anger, love, sadness, hurt and always a good measure of humour on the side. A perfect combination.

    Chapter 6

Wow you don't believe in writing stories in half measures do you? This is incredibly dramatic. It's rare that I don't see something coming but I'd never have guessed this. I said that I thought that Steven may have a crush on Dan but that he would become violent and attempt to molest or rape him I think if Steven had not been violent, Dan would have been left with a difficult choice but Steven will be lucky to get away without a criminal charge of assault or worse. Yes Adam and Dan's relationship is in the open but can Steven possible go back and face the music or would he rather end it?
