Chapter 36: Mischievous Mind
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 36: Mischievous Mind
If this is indeed the end, I am rather unhappy. It resolves some things at extremely high cost while rendering much of the story so far obsolete. All Vincent's training, etc. To me this feels like one of the many possibilities Terik contemplated and had to throw away for not being quite right. No green light on this tablet...- 66 comments

Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Well, I doubt it was the thing with the reincarnation-as-chicken or the line about a god of therapy, so I guess it is going to be this: I take that as meaning it is NOT one of the 'ideal' endings. So (at least) one of the things she listed as being part of the ideal ending is going to be different. I doubt you'll let everything end in complete mayhem, though.- 78 comments

Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Well, I suppose he'll have the marks of all 7 in his wolf form. And if there is such a thing as divine affinity, he just might have it after all is said and done. The line about gods being created when Vincent and Dinbe chatted, though, as well as the thing about Vincent being Teriks apprentice, has me wondering if there is a (demi-)god in the making. Maybe there *is* need for a God of "Getting Shit Done", you know?- 78 comments

Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Having nibbled and gnawed away at them after the last cliffhangers, there is hardly anything left to hang by with. 😉- 78 comments

Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 35: Deadly Decision
Hm... The goddess of mischief possessing Vincent's body. Now, I agree it is unlikely that Stefan will be able to survive whatever she has in store for him, but my main concern is what this will do to Vincent? Mentally compiling a 'Side effects include ...' list as I write. 🤔- 78 comments

Chapter 33: Final Face-off
Salerion commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 33: Final Face-off
Yeah for Cernunnos! ❤️ A Cow-man might be udderly delightful, but ... I'll reserve judgement on that one... 😉 Mail-Order Husband... Hm. Imagining the possibilities. Interesting! -

I prefer coffee liquor (Tia Maria for instance). Mix with amaretto when making tiramisu. Works very well.. 😉

That's what I said last chapter: They appear a bit careless, really. It may be understandable given all the circumstances, but it is dangerous. Keeping my fingers crossed all of them get out of the situation unscathed...

Tasting. Right... Before lunch and for lunch and after lunch... 🙂

That is highly unlikely and I certainly would never make that claim.

Maybe since Kage had hunted down bad guys most of his life, the piece of him that is left is like some sort of proximity to evilness sensor. 🙂

And the cook (Johnny) would, once again, disbelieve until proven wrong. 🙃

It must be nice to have people to blame should you ever fail to keep your deadlines... Such luxury!

Basically ill-prepared and inexperienced guys taking on challanging tasks could easily and seriously backfire, is all I am saying. So the two need to watch out and have each others back!

Very true. But that means Elijah could be easily mislead at the best of times (not being trained to watch for details) and rather easily so if he is in an emotional state as in this scene? Perhaps the guys are in way over their heads after all...

Slightly OT: I used to play tabletop RPGs and I remember one session where a spellcaster attempted to force self-loathing on an enemy. The enemy in this case being a sort of a frankenstein stitched together chimeric monster, the game master fobbed him off by saying: Impossible. Trust me. If that thing were capable of self-loathing, it would have jumped off a cliff some time ago. Anyway, I guess that applies to guys like Kennemann as well...

Who knows which parts had begun to shift when Neall got stuck in the process? Could he not still have a fully human head with other parts all furry?

And just imagine the amount of food everyone would want afterwards... 200 Black Holes all in one spot. Is the NALC headquarter prepared for that? If not, I can just picture the influx of catering and delivery services from every direction converging on the one location leaving every store within at least 10 miles devoid of anything edible.

Add some torches. It completes the look. 😉 Though I still think the most likely outcome would be for @kbois to go all Shrek, crossing her arms and asking: 'You and what army?'

I have no problem with the cliff-hanger per se. I took issue with this specific cliffhanger because it has me focussed on playing through a multitude of gory scenarios that I cannot help but imagine in every detail (unfortunately including smell).
