Personally, I do not see much of a difference between, say, religious traditionalists on one side telling me I need to be straight, live a monogamous life, carry on the family name, traditions and all that and on the other side progressive activist types telling me I need to be in-your-face about my sexuality and be casual about nudity, must not cling to supposedly outmoded stuff like monogamy, etc. More often than not, both sides seem to me to care more about enforcing conformity to their point of view than about the actual subject matter being enforced. I'd much rather everyone lives their lives their own way.

AFAIK, in the UK (it is similar in other Common Law jurisdictions), the word lawyer would pretty much just be an umbrella-term for legal practitioners. Solicitor is one type of lawyer, barrister would be another - there are other types as well. From my understanding, a very rough distinction between a solicitor and a barrister would be that a solicitor is who you go to if you need legal advice. A solicitor provides legal advice, prepares a case, manages the paperwork, etc. A barrister, meanwhile, would typically be instructed by a solicitor and then represent a client during proceedings in court.

Just follow the sign of the dancing bears... I loved it. 🤣 So now IT has a name. Baal... I don't know if Odin still answers prayers, but personally, I pray we do not have to wait long for the next chapter!

And so... the plot thickens! Can't wait to find out what happens to the C-17. If it has to fly any lower, will it be inside the range of IT (whatever it may be)? As for the lions... Why on earth would all the kings, soldiers, subjects, etc. of Kintu put up with him? I get that everyone is afraid of him, but still... He makes life unbearable for other, so what has anyone got to lose? At any rate: Nasty piece of work, that one!!

Lovely chapter. And sad but beautiful farewell scene. 🥰 I nearly lost it with Ethan and Aidan talking about too much drama going on with the ginger from UK and his mate... And I agree. WAY too much drama. 🤣

My first thought was: What a gay Criminal Minds episode that would be. Your husband could feature either as the 'perp' being exposed through his trophy collection OR as the 'expert/connoisseur' on jockstraps giving the team the essential clue / jockstrap knowledge based on his in-depth expertise (probably bordering on the arcane).

In addition to having good friends who stand by and support him, Seth really deserves finding himself a boyfriend! 🙂 By the way, there are a couple of other things I would love to or can see happening: Randy embraces his inner wolf and gets turned Trevor finds a mate A certain family get what they deserve So will Cassidy Maybe we will see more of Trevor's leadership skills - I actually think he'd make a good alpha some day.

Unfortunately, that is true. It is the other way around really, if someone is capable of de-humanizing their own brother, I would put nothing past that person.

Far from it! Sodom and Gomorrah would - to my mind - include an all out "anything goes" attitude that would see me running for my life... I don't think it'd be a match with regards to pure aesthetics either, which is the picture the chapter left me with: beautiful nature, friends being together outdoors, cameradery, etc. And then picture these friends as handsome and hairy hot hunks... Heaven! 🙂

I am unsure how you go from reading the criticism to saying you cannot write lengthy novels? Because that is just not true! As far as I could make out, people (myself included) where not happy with your choice of an ending, but no one was unhappy with your writing as such! I read most of your stories here and I liked them a lot. Good characters, interesting and fun ideas and settings, etc. It's all there!- 66 comments
