    I was so pleased to see that a chapter had been posted and had to wait until work was finished to read it. Daventry and Granger have been very handsomely rewarded for their diplomatic work in Russia. Earldoms from the English King, and pots of money from the Russian Tsar. GBP150,000 in 1802 is the equivalent of GBP16,000,000 today. It's quite a house Granger will build. Caroline wrote a very silly letter showing that really was no credit to her at all. To compare yourself to 2 infamous hussies and threaten to expose Granger is just silly. I am interested to see how silly or vindictive she might become. Thank you for a fantastic chapter. I love Granger. He is my all time favorite GA character.

    I'm delighted that they made it through that ambush. The two that were shot yielded a good portion of Jubal's gold back which I'm pleased about. Maybe he can buy an adjoining piece land. The one that got away will be coming back hunting for revenge and they will likely have to kill him too. I think these two are going to get along well, and may just help rhe other heal from disappointments they have faced.

    Yeah, I think Max is going to be Kyan's biggest help as Kyan and Perry progress their relationship. He will hold Kyan's hand and mentor him. He's a really decent guy.

    Yes, that makes sense. It will allow them a period of transition during which time they need not think too much about what this all means.

    I'm glad they hit the sack again. Perry made an assumption which turned out not to be correct. Kyan wants him. This is not a friend with benefits situation. This is two available men, who adore one another taking their existing relationship to a new level. I'm looking forward to the first chat with Max. I'm interested to see how he will take the whole change.

    Well an interesting chapter with the game up between Matty and Rusty. But it is also up between Rusty and Connor so let's see how Connor will proceed. I'm looking forward to what John will tell Matty. It will bring a twist to the tale I'm sure.

    @84Mags you are quite right. Max is lovely, but he was coming on very strong. Barnacle, finger in belt loop, licking the neck, finger down the chest. He just did too much and didn't take note of Perry's attention on Kyan.

    There was no malice in anything that Kyan has done. No need for too much guilt on account of Max. He and Perry have been joined at the hip for years. Max has met Perry 3 times. BUT, I do hope that Max is not totally "man down" over this. He is a great guy and his person will emerge.

    Yes, Perry has definitely made it clear. This is what he was afraid of doing, but he has spent so much time with Kyan now, that he knows exactly what he wants. Now, I do hope Kyan can remain cool. I forsee Jessica assisting him transition into his "gay for Perry" self. Perhaps Max will help.
