[Memory, Freshman Year, November] – The Usual Letdowns
Doha commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Freshman Year, November] – The Usual Letdowns
Well this is an unexpected context for Lyn. He and Alexander present similarly, but I suspect one is genuinely wealthy. Having said that a Victorian redbrick house gone to seed, indicates that there may have been some wealth at some stage in the past. I wonder exactly what it is that Lyn's mom has to do to buy him an expensive gift. 🤔 -
I am delighted to see George and his merry men again. He remains my all-time favourite character on GA. I'm glad George got time with Calvert and their love remains strong. 💕 It's a good thing that Daventry didn't speak out about the negotiations. George really is growing in stature, both with his sovereign and with the people.

This was a very revealing chapter as more details of the friendship triangle emerge. As others have said, I am sure that Brad knew of Alexander's interest in Lyn, and of Lyn's interest in him. What we don't yet know is what Brad's interest was, or whether we take at face value what Mrs Fox has shown us - which as we all know, is as safe as quick sand.

How we all wanted the condom to burst, and perhaps it still will, but that would just be too easy for Laura Fox story. Without doubt these two are meant for each other and Fate or FATE will find a way.

Wow, there is a depth to the commentary that is rarely seen. This story is powerful in so many levels, and as has already been said, there are no heroes in the true sense of heroism, rather people being flawed humans, struggling to make sense of a broken world. I'm sorry Nick left Bobby. It seems harsh, to abandon somebody you've claimed to protect. Let see if the next chapter helps us make sense of that action. This must be one of the most intricately woven tapestries of lust, betrayal, a tainted kind of love, I've ever read. Splendid work @CasualWanderer82

[Memory, Freshman Year, November] – Temptation
Doha commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Freshman Year, November] – Temptation
There is definitely a chemistry between Brad and Lyn. Alex is a third wheel, but Lyn tolerates him because of their friendship with Brad. Being in the closet, it's clear that Lyn is hiding his sexuality from the world and the hours of study, besides being financially necessary, provide a kind of cover. That closet is a damned hard place to be. -
The image of a broken child becoming an armoured but broken adult is the tragedy of Adrian, alongside his realisation that when he came upon the fork in the path, he chose the wrong route. 😢 and that bad choice has impacted his entire life as well as Bobby and Nick's lives. Now having tasted independence and power, Adrian must face dependence and powerlessness. There is still a chance that he can be redeemed and transformed, if not forgiven. My heart feels for the young Adrian and rhe older man he might have become. I have hope that Bobby has broken this mold. 😕

"That Place Only We Know (Part 3)"

Yeah. Agreed. I'm interested to see how each of these chaps grows out of this shared experience. -

This is the moment of truth for Adrian - one he cannot unsee or unknow. He will have to come to terms with not being the centre of the universe and infact having to remodel a new life, a new reality. As much as Adrian has been a monster, Nick and Bobby bought into the narrative and played their parts. I hope Adrian finds something authentic around which to build his new life. Nick and Bobby obviously go their own ways for a time, but how they come back together and where the journey leads for all 3 of them is something I'm fascinated to see. Spectacular writing!! -
"That Place Only We Know (Part 2)"
Doha commented on CasualWanderer82's story chapter in "That Place Only We Know (Part 2)"
Watching 2 people coming out of their largely self-inflicted cocoons. Is fascinating. Although quiet touches and soft caresses are part of the thread that binds them, they are developing separately and as individuals alongside one another. Support given and received in the face of impending, awe-inspiring freedom is a strong motif throughout the chapter. Perhaps time apart, 5 years, may allow a coming together that is more authentic, lasting, less founded on need and more on a mutual recognition. -
"That Place Only We Know (Part 1)"
Doha commented on CasualWanderer82's story chapter in "That Place Only We Know (Part 1)"
This chapter is a masterpiece in its own right. Bobby is allowed to be the kid trusting the adult, and Nick quietly takes charge in the gentlest possible way. It seems that the physical breaking of Adrian is going to be the trigger of Bobby and Nick's personal development. -
Let's see how this goes.

There are going to be a whole lot of follow ups to this. For sure. 🔥

Both Ryder and Danny have had a taste of happiness and I don't think either will be able to walk away from that.

@Al Norris you may just be onto something here. 🤔 could it be that Cassandra is cursed and by sending Ryder to Pembroke, and perhaps his dearh, she may be able to have the curse removed. So many alternatives.

Keith needs such a good smack. I'm hopeful that while Jim is away, Keith and Jon will get to know each other a bit and perhaps some loosening up will happen.

"Adrian's Eleventh Hour"
Doha commented on CasualWanderer82's story chapter in "Adrian's Eleventh Hour"
What a pity that the break through with Bobby had to revert to the same routine of dominant daddy and suppliant son. They might have reached a crossroad and raken the wrong turn. The start of this chapter with a frail Adeian, who is probably 45 at that point is a sad moment. Where did Bobby go and where is Nick. Do they go off together? -
"The Quiet Ache Of Autumn"
Doha commented on CasualWanderer82's story chapter in "The Quiet Ache Of Autumn"
"Do you hate me?" Adrian whispered into Nick, his head diving inside his lover's chest. "No," Nick whispered back. "I just hate how much I want to believe you." How many of us have been in that precise position; of loving but knowing it was unhealthy, doomed, ultimately unfulfilled, but recklessly holding on anyway. Nick, come on, you're cleverer than this, unless it is the quiet, unnoticed power you actually love. Interesting years ahead for them both. I wonder if they will feel like wasted years? -
Nope. Not even a little bit.

The hunt is well on its way. I'm sure that if Josh starts posting on social media in search of Wipee, something will come up.
-
So a struggle for dominance is under way. It probably has been bubbling for 12 years. As for the "I dont bottom" line, Lyn has another thing coming with Alexander. I've no doubt that he will be screaming with pleasure at some stage in these 10 days.

[Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
Doha commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in [Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra
Alexander is an interesting character and these three are quite a mixture. But who is the garlic in the fruit salad? -
Alexander is a dark horse. And a muscular one at that. Let's see what goes down between Lyn and Alexander. Brad is a lot more wiley than Lyn gives him credit for.

That smell of sweat when you're plastered can be a big turn on. Puke, on the other hand ...
