This has been a better time for Jonah as he re-establishes his life. His cousins are going to be a good support system. I wonder what happened with his father and uncle? As for Victor, what a twat. He will be the bugbear of the situation. Brilliant chapter.

As awful as his situation is, Jonah seems to have a very decent family who care for him. I hope he is able to move on a little and perhaps look for James online.

Absolutely correct. I spent rhe summer I'm Indonesia last year with a friend and it was one photo opportunity after another with literally 100s of people in a line, while they all tried to take photos for Ibstagram on a particular rock as they looked wistfully out to sea. I ended up getting so cross.

Therapy comes in many guises. Sitting on a couch talking to a stranger is just one form. This emerging family just needs to be alert, to listen and to be reflective. They will get through it all just fine.
