For someone to be bestowed a title is a great honor as well as a huge compliment from the one asking it be bestowed. Adam is fully deserving and hopefully will accept in order not to show disrespect. It is fiction after all Looks like the gymnasium is coming along nicely - polished floors, cleaned pool and lockers - very nice. I wondered when the security questions would begin to arise regarding taking the lot to the cabin. I can't imagine how much security is already around the school as it is that hasn't been mentioned. Talk about Adam's army ... there's probably literally a small army outside the school protecting them all. Let's hope anyway!

Johnny, and I'm sure quite a few of the other boys, feels rejection by his family for sending him away to school. Adam couldn't have said it any better "I couldn’t love you boys anymore if I was your father" which assured Johnny that Adam does truly love him and the rest of the boys. To be starved of love at a very young age is incomprehensible. I'm so glad Adam is there to provide that for the boys and can't wait for all of them to have a getaway to the cabin to just take a deep breath and relax a bit.

Johnny wants to come visit, chances are Billy will be there anyway, and doesn't ride with Adam. The cabin is 3 hours away. The Minnow went on a 3 hour cruise and we all know where it ended up! LOL!!!

OMG, that just tells you Billy is much better off WITHOUT Ann. First, they never had sex, so was it the 2nd immaculate conception??? Second, she told Billy she was on the pill ... why, to trick him into fatherhood / servitude for the rest of his life??? Run Billy, RUN!!!! Thank gawd for Uncles and that don't fly off the handle and reason through things. Marie will get to the bottom of this quickly and efficiently. Till then, stir clear Billy!

I jousted in a previous post about Adam walking on water ... now, references are being made about the "twelve" ... literally, I won't be surprised if he walks across the swimming pool soon! LOL!!! Billy has me puzzled, since when does he not refer to Adam as Uncle Adam??? This sounds serious ... may be a bun in the oven he doesn't want to talk to his dad about ... or dual weddings. LOL!!!

Holy toledo Batman, we got a pool AND a basketball court. No telling what else lies deeper in that cavernous space. Probably a workout room of some sort tucked far back in amongst all of that. LOL!!! One can only imagine the feeling as each boy takes in the sight of the new pool, the basketball court, something they've longed for, and was always there, but is now there for them to use in the very near future. Poof, there it is! LOL!!! Thank gawd for blueprints!

Wow, just getting back and 3 chapters to take in. So much happened that made me smile, become emotional, and laugh out loud all at the same time. Adam literally is close to walking on water! lol I too was intrigued by the reasoning of closing the rooms off and, after reading your explanation, had another thought as well ... if Ole Bagpipes was running a draconian institution, anything that would elicit fun would abnormal and should be boarded up. If behind the great wall in the basement truly is the gymnasium - with all of its' equipment still left in tact - we can surmise that Ole Bagpipes wasn't just a thief but also a very mean and unhappy person at heart that wanted to inflict the same on everyone around her ... except those she had to pay off in her embezzlement scheme in order for them to remain loyal and silent.

I've heard of losing the ring in the ocean AFTER you get married but Adam barely got the words out! LOL!!! And talk about foreshadowing regarding the Trustees ... I won't be surprised if some of them are corrupt - never heard of a Board not requiring some type of accountability. Just makes the intrigue all the better for coming chapters! 😉

No telling the quality of the wines found if the seafood and caviar were any indication of the self indulgence. Talk about entitled and taking advantage. Unbelievable. Who knows how many other hidden rooms of treasure Adam & Co are going to uncover in the basement!

One has to believe that Adam is not only encouraging students but also repairing / reinforcing their family bonds as well. ❤️

OMG, I laughed all the way through this chapter at the joviality and lightness that Marie and Adam have together as well as the humor they have. Surprised dear ole mom didn't have a heart attack at the baby comment! LOL!!!! LOL!!!

Follow the money! I thought finding the room behind the hidden wall would be intriguing, I can't wait to see who the money trail ends up finding! LOL!!!

OMFG!!!! Twenty-five secretaries and only 10 physical bodies falling under that category. So the crooks were not only causing the Academy to hemorrhage money by embezzling, they were double dipping also by fictitious employees being added to the payroll. At this rate, the parents need to hold the Trustees accountable for their derelict of duty. And seriously, rubber stamping??? I guess that way Ole Bagpipes could deny accountability and "not knowing" that was going on ... until the agents traced the bank accounts back to her and all the other crooks Adam has dismissed. One does have to wonder if the staff won't request all the monies back that have been maliciously withheld from their check for room and board over the years. That's definitely going to be a pretty penny and something Adam should already be in the process of making happen as it's the only right thing to do to keep the staff from getting a thorn in the sides.

The heads have rolled! WooHoo!!! 😂 A hidden room is now the art and music room ... Mr Rusello has brought something to the school like no other - a passion for the arts! Coins for everyone and James got a promotion to Lord. I'd say a damn fine chapter indeed! LOL!!!

The storyline was perfectly clear as the three of them going to the cafeteria for coffee is an established precedent throughout the story. Jane, who had been referenced multiple times in lines just preceding the "tail," was a given as well as the wall painting by Mr Rusello which was again reemphasized after Adam and Crew arrived in the dining hall. Wasn't a jumpy chapter or hard to follow if one has been following the story through all the chapters. Just saying!

The whirlwind just blew through the door ... HE'S BACK!!! 😂 Can't wait to see the space he finds in the basement. Who needs a new building, Adam just want to discover the space he has in the current one! LOL!!!
