As I was reading I was trying to imagine the anxiety the kiddos would experience growing older and thinking they might have to leave Sanctuary. This might be a conversation Brad has with all the kiddos to let them know he has a plan for their future and not just being kicked out like some parents do. Regarding the initial boat trip, I think Brad's insight into how it would make the kids feel and Adel's honesty with him saved a lot of kids heartache even through something that was meant to be enjoyable. As for Pat and the adoption, Tony caught on quick. That's a tough one that I'm sure Brad, through a lot of introspection, will come up with an answer for. Hell, if you're already loving 300 kiddos, feeding, clothing, housing, etc .... why not just adopt all of them since they're his kiddos already? I'm sure Dad could make that happen with one swing of the gavel.
