  1. I was just thinking something very similar. How is it... what most people consider a third world country, can have such a new age consideration for equal rights. The rest of us need to catch up! It's almost embarrassing that the US is so slow to adopt this obvious concession to equality. Here the nation was supposed to be 'built' on 'by the people/for the people'. And yet, here we sit. Gay bashing, and a never ending litany of bigotry and hate. It's sad.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving all! If you are somewhere that is not celebrating. Take a moment and think about something that makes you smile. Take care!
  3. I'm curious about that too... though I am NOT a mechanic. It is just what we were told to do when I was in school, and I found it worked marvelously in the past. LOL I know where the oil goes.. cause it says 'oil' and I know where the gas goes. Other than what I have been taught and my experience from driving in the snow, that is all I know I have to admit though, while sitting in line at a drive through with the car in neutral, and the brake pressed for several minutes, nothing ever seemed to happen to the transmission. It still went forward when I put it back into gear.
  4. Seems you've gotten just about everything as per good advice. The other thing I would suggest, if this is a cold area: For your trunk: Put a THICK WARM blanket in the trunk in case you get stranded. Get a couple of flares... So you can be seen in case it is night time or a blinding snow Double check your spare tire once a month during the winter. They have a tendancy to go partially flat in the winter months. 1 big bag of kitty litter. For traction in case you get stuck. Get a cell phone from the local police department. They're usually free, and will only dial 911 in case of an emergency. As it has been said already, drive slower. If you find yourself in a situation where you have to stop faster than you would like, putt the engine in neutral, or taking it out of gear (stick shift) and hitting the breaks will slow you faster than if you just pump the breaks. When the engine is in gear, you are fighting against it. You'll maintain a lot more control in your 'unexpected' stop when the engine isn't still trying to push the car forward. One last thing... even if you're doing great, sometimes it's the idiot sliding into the ass of your car that can cause the problem. Definately keep an eye on cars approaching from behind when you're sitting idle at a stop light/sign. If you see they are going to hit you, same as above. Take the car out of gear, be ready to hit the breaks and turn the wheel into the curb. It'll help you keep from being pushed out into traffic. If you are hit hard enough, the butt of your car will usually go into traffic instead the front. Take care out there!
  5. LOL! I meant victims in a good sense! Victims is what we are when we read the last sentence of the chapter and we're left flailing about with the cliff hanger. As I stated in my email to you, "You are a BAD MAN!" lol When I said written 'rough' I didn't mean to insinuate that your story was a rough read. Just a couple small things to tend to. Now... where's my next chapter Goat!
  6. Well.. typos.. grammar, rewrites aside... I liked it! You can have the worst story written well and never like it. You can have the best story... written... roughly... and yeah... I'd read it. By the way... those were spoiler stuffs lol... I did't want to ruin it for the other victims! Errr.. readers.

I have the rest of what I need and some lovely orange air freshener! Time to begin! YES! I like Steve's parents WHAT! WTF is this!-- Steve filled me in on his plan, finished by rubbing his hands together, vengeance on his mind. I told him "Yeah, sounds like a plan. That would sure solve our problems. I'm in." LOL See... now that is just not right! Ohhhh you are a right bastard!!! I can't believe you left me hanging again! I loved it Goat! You absolutely slay me.

  22. LOL sorry about that hun. I didn't even think of you when I wrote those words I'll have to work on my politically correct animal terminology in the future. Take care! --- As for you Goat. I loved chapter 2!!! It was so sweet! Flowed well, everything seemed to drop into place better than I would have ever hoped. Now... time to take cafe of that little monster of a brother!
  23. Yahoo News: "The annual Leonid meteor shower could produce a strong outburst this weekend for residents of the North America and Western Europe." "A brief surge of activity is expected begin around 11:45 p.m. ET Saturday, Nov. 18. In Europe, that corresponds to early Sunday morning, Nov. 19 at 4:45 GMT. The outburst could last up to two hours." I have watched the last few and they were quite spectacular. If you are able to, you should step out and take a couple minutes to stair at the sky tomorrow night!
  24. Erotic is a feather.. Sick, is when you use the whole bird. Heheh.... I trust the Goat not to go too far into the realm of obscurity.
  25. It's a hard lesson to learn when to let the reader take a breath. We eager beavers want to keep them enthralled and breathless with every word... when in reality... even that can wear out a mind. Sometimes we slap you in the head with information so it's easier for us to continue in future chapters. Then we can say... well my god... we explained that 6 chapters ago! Well... who remembers that long ago. Bird gives great criticism... I guess what we all strive for is ... well... we know what's wrong now... how should we fix it? Those answers aren't that easy some times. Yes... you did come down on me before about this kind of thing lol.... but you were gentle How did you word that... 'YOU SUCK' Just Kidding! lol we all know you would never do such a thing.... You've all never been anything but helpful. Like I said above... if we're getting great criticism.. we might as well maximize it. Get the most from it we can. Than again... goats are thick skinned... someone get the ball peen hammer... we'll beat it in! Love you all... didn't mean to cause a stir... just wanted more info! Take care!
