I'm not familiar with the author, but just the same, I send my well wishes to his friends and family.

SHIT! We've been found out. We must have a straight spy in our midst! Everyone assume the position, we'll have them weeded out in no time! --- On a more serious note... GIRL!!! Where did you buy them shoes!? --- God that cracked me up. Thank you!

Thank you Kevin, Kitty, Cjames, Myr, and the rest of you that work behind the scenes of so much work. I know it took me over 13 hours to read through the anthologies. That you posted a personal review for each 'afriendlyface' was special. Kitty, that you took the time to put so much work into the design of each anthology so it fit just so... Yes, another thank you. Many thank to all and of course you Myr. Where would we be if we didn't have a place to land our idle banter. Take care.

You know me... I'll be sucking it up! I can't wait to see it.

COM!! You are a right BASTARD! LOL You did it to me again! I loved this story, I can't believe it ended with a cliffhanger. The character are great. The sub-plots are rich and I hope that you come out with part two soon. The dreaming scenes remind me of Grand Theft Auto, but painted by Dali, or Claude Monet. Great stuff Com.

Awesome! Each page he wrote read like a piece of a spell he didn't know he was casting until finally he got what he asked for. I LOVED IT! The imagry and gore at the end ate me up (and the character too it seems). Do you have more stuff out there somewhere hidden away that I've missed? Top drawer!

As I said in the Kitty thank you thread. You are all wonderful and I can't thank you enough. Be you cloven hooved or ten toed, you are all awesome. So... again... THANKS!!!

LOL the reason I'm here is Graeme. He told me about this place and I've settled in. I can't thank him enough, I've learned so much! So Graeme, thanks. This is a great group of folks. I've been making it a habit to post the link in my nifty posted chapters here as well.

You're great Kitty. Some time this weekend I hope you have a moment to sit back, and have a nice bottle of tequila and drink yourself blind! SMOOCH! I know the rest of you work hard too, but I can't imagine the workload this anthology thing is going to present. Take care of you and thanks to all of you!

This is probably going to sound a bit silly, but if I were you, I'd make up my own. Either way, here are some links! Hope that they help. http://www.crystalinks.com/chinadragons.html http://webtech.kennesaw.edu/jcheek3/dragons.htm http://www.draconian.com/whatis/whatis.htm http://www.dragonorama.com/other/index.html Take care!

You know you all missed me lol (NOT!) Like an inflamed pulsating hemmorroid I greet you now at every turn. My company has finally left and I'm back to work. I tried to get back here as often as I could during the last two weeks, but, there was a lot to do. Now I'm back and focused. I hope to see more activity soon. (in the forum) I wish the best for you all... just give me a slap when I get on your nerves. Take care!

I've noticed the trend to label lame things as 'gay' in the last couple of years. Honestly... it pisses me off. Each time someone makes a remark 'that is soo gay!' I ALWAYS have some comment. It urks me, and is a new personal pet pieve. Gay is not a derogetory term no matter how hard people are trying to turn it into one. It disturbs me that so many let it slide. We ALL need to make an effort to remove this from common speech. You can do it subtlely if you fear your own outing. You young kids could even become an individual and say... how is 'such and such' gay? Does it give you a blowjob? Something damnit... ANYTHING! Form your own future damnit. Don't let who you are become a common curse. We're on the back slide here folks, and this new 'slang' gives me the feel of subterfuge. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one for pushing my private life into people faces and excepting everyone to act a certain way. I don't expect concessions or courtesies from people who are not homosexual. What I do expect however, is respect. Those people that can't give me that respect, have no place in my world. So, I suppose I'm hoping you will all respect yourselves enough to expect it of others. Kudos to you AFriendlyFace. Keep it up!

Here's something I recently dumped into print. It's thoughts I had while driving down the road. Driving is 'sometimes' a great time to come up with ideas and let thoughts come to fruition. The well prepared have a tape recorder handy to jot down what ever idle thoughts come to mind. Me, I don't have one yet... I'll have to get one. It's prime thinking time, and often first thing in the morning when the caffiene has only just begun sinking into our systems. I'd suggest this for the writing excercise area, but I dont' think I can post there, and would hate to even try. So... with less babbling... here's what I wrote when I got home. World of Self There are days when I wonder why I even f**king bother to wake up. People take more than you give and then nod off to sleep. I suppose I should be used to this by now, it

QUACK! That must have been one HORNY duck! I suppose without opposible thumbs, it would be 'difficult', to 'self correct'. I suppose it proves the point... homosexuality is part of all nature, and that even in the animal kingdom, they have their share of 'NUTS".

I'm going to have to dry jotting down the end of the story for one of the ones that have been rolling around in my head and see how it goes. It'll be a learning experience if nothing else. (Gods know I could use it) Thanks again both of you for your input! Take care! Shannon

WOW... I don't know if I could do more than a couple at one time. Like Graeme I have problems keeping them sorted out in my head. I usually have to read the previous chapter to get the voices in my head in order, before starting. Maybe part of my problem is that I'm anxious to find out what happens next in my own stories lol To me it would be like watching a movie on DVD about half way through, and then swapping to another movie. That would eat me up! Maybe if I wrote up an outline so I knew the ending it might not be so consuming. I don't know. Do you all write using an outline and just kind of fill in the words? Or do you, like me, write as it comes to you not sure what will happen next? I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I guess I'm too lazy to do a search. There is so much material here, honestly, it's kind of hard to find exactly what I'm looking for. (And.... I figure other newcomers might be interested in hearing this too) I have read that DK does a lot of research for his stories, and I wager the rest of you great writers do, too. I have pages and pages of notes with Earth Reborn. I also have quite a bit of material stored away for The Druid. I find that I'm spending more time looking up information. So much so, that I'm doing more research than writing. Does anyone else run into this? I think I'm going to try this multiple story writing thing. Do you ever find yourselves stuck on one story, while another lingers collecting dust? LOL It almost seems unfair to leave the readers hanging like that. They get bitter! Or maybe that is just me. Sorry for so many questions, but I'm curious and I'd like to see how the rest of you deal with these situations. Lastly, thanks for all of your input! I appreciate it. I didn't honestly think that this thread would get more than an offhanded glance. So thank you!

That's great... but what do you do, when there are four or five that want to be written?
-
What do you do when you have several stories at the same time whirling around in your head? Do you try to write them all at the same time, or just work with one and keep taking notes until that one is finished? I have several stories buzzing about my mind and have been adding little notes on where I want them to go, but I would like to know how you all deal with this. At the moment I have about four more stories that creap around in my little brain. Do you just write them all at once? I'm new at this, so your guidance would be very much appreciated. Shannon

Sweet! I look forward to reading more about the guys, and your Anothology Submission! Thank you for the heads up! Have a good one!

I just read your story. I loved it. When I saw 'The End' I could have wrung your neck! lol I was kind of hoping to see a to be continued... I didn't notice anything in the way of grammar or sentence structure problems. You covered a lot of detail in a very short amount of time, but it didn't seem like you were force feeding it to me either. I thought it flowed great, and only left wanting to know more about their future. I liked the instant comradare that seems to bind the closest of friends. Sometimes things just 'click' and you gave me this impression between Jase and Trev. If there had been a 2nd or 7th chapter I know I would have continued reading until there wasn't anything left. If you have more stuff out there, I'd sure like to see it! Thanks for the story! Take care!

Happy Birthday all of you! I have a girl at work that is tearing your stories UP! She loves them, along with many others here. It keeps her off my ass to write faster lol I hope you have a great birthday! --- "So.... what do you want for your Birthday Dom?" asked the silly writer. "Twelve inches of blinding sex!" came the raspy reply. So the silly writer f**ked him three times and punched him in the eye. --- Take care!!!

For the last few days, my 'gay affiliated' email accounts have been inundated with .pif virus attempts. They are recognizable by a date of 1998. For the most part they have landed in the 'bulk' section of my email, but they can be damaging if downloaded or the .pif file is opened. If you happen to see an email like this in your bulk or regular mail. Delete it. DO NOT reply to it. That will give them the opportunity to track your IP. Do not reply to them in chat, do not reply to them if you get it on a message board. Just delete it. Take care and beware. Shannon

I read the entire thing in a day. (mind you... those are some nice long chapters). I ate it up. I always love your work. You writing gets the mind and the 'juices' flowing. I can't give it enough praise, so I'll stop groveling here. It seems almost like the last chapter could even work as an opening to me for another 'book' so to speak in the series. I only WISH I could kick out that much quality material. You make me feel lazy! Anyway, I had to stop by and say that I love the story, and I can't wait to read more. Take care!
