I guess what I was wondering... well any writer wonders... is what exactly might you change? Which sentence or paragraph... what led you away or might lead you to ignore any (and specifically this) story. You give great criticism... but it seems vague. What specifically would you change? We all get criticism... it's the best thing we can hope for, because it teaches us the most. What I'm curious about.. is what specifically brought about the criticism. Was it an over all feel, or specific places or events? What events brought about your feelings of 'over exposure'. You know... that kind of thing. Or was it simply culumlative and just kinda popped your brains? I don't want you to think I'm trying to be confrontational, I just figure... if you're getting good criticism... we might as well hope to hear on how to fix it. You know?

OUCH!! Damn boy leave some meat for the vultures! First... It is not fair to say that the story climaxes too soon until you have read it in it

#1 Everything comes with risk. Everything that is worth anything is usually fought for. I wish them the best of luck and applaud their bravery. I think a better question would be, 'Is it work the risk?' That's a question each person in that parade has to ask themselves. If, at the end they have answered ,yes, then I think all that is left, is to wish them well. #2 So long as they don't damage any property, and it isn't a great hinderance to people's daily lives, I believe they should be able to have the parade any place they please, and be left unmolested. A person's religious belief does not grant them the right to impose upon another individual. Here in the US you can worship any way, and any religion you please so long as you don't break the law. (no killing people, etc etc) You can choose to worship Allah, God, Goddess, Thor, Snoopy, Barbara Streisand, or the curly cue hair growing out your pimply butt if it suits you, so long as you don't infrige on another person's rights. Or, you can choose to worship nothing at all. The are three mains goals to a pride parade in my opinion. One, to remind the public that 'yep' contrary to what you might have been told, we're still here. Two, to give a sense of community to sexually subversed indivuals and the knowledge that they are not alone in the world. Three, to push forward a political agenda and make a public cry against the inequities in current law. I'm sure there are many other reasons for a pride parade of any sort, but these three things seem to ring the strongest in my mind. While I believe it is proper and should be expected, that we respect others beliefs, I don't think it should stop anyone from being who they are. Difference in belief is not a handicap, or some border to keep people safe. It's a choice. It's as much of a choice for those that will march in that parade. It's a choice for others to be present and witness it, or, avert their eyes and make plans to be somewhere else that day. I don't care if the Klu Klux Klan decided they wanted to parade through the middle of Mississippi. Their beliefs are not my own. I can take each day and fight my own personal battles as they are presented to me. I'm not so bored as to have to go find them. So with that in mind, I think the second question is completely erroneous. If it was a parade of Methodists marching in front of a Jewish Temple, I suspect there wouldn't be such a big deal being made of this. That someone considers a place 'Holy' means nothing to me if I do not share that belief. I will respect the object or place, but I will not give the same reverence to it as those that believe differently. Would I go fart in a confessional..? No. Would I participate in a gay pride parade that marched right outside it's doors. You're damn straight I would. I wish them a safe parade and hope for the best. Take care!

I thought that was sweet! I think there should be more of that on TV!

I really liked chapter one! I have to say though, you definately earned them horns. You're evil! Leaving us swinging in the breeze wondering what's going to happen. I want to kick the younger brother's ass! He should have taken that money and just moved instead of forking it all over to the boy. Better yet, turn that little bastard into the police for extortion! So.... when can I look forward to reading chapter 2?!
-
Did you do that thing I suggested? There was work to be done there. I can't wait to swallow the next chapter! Get to work goat!
-

If I had my way... the arguement would be what harms others and what does not. If you have ever driven a car, you are guilty of harm. Harm to the planet and those around you. If you have ridden a bus, you are guilty of harm. Harm to the planet and those around you. The lesser of two evils does not make one right. We are all guilty in our way. It should not be a battle as to what plant we can or cannot have in our possession. It is natural. It grows here. Irregardless of what we do with it, or how we use it. It should only be taken into account when harm is done. My point is that we should not have to 'battle' for idiology. We shouldn't have to fight for our freedoms. 'Fighting' for a thing is for those that just like to bitch. We should not have to engage in this idle banter that serves no purpose, on a non topic, and gains us nothing. It should NOT be an issue.

Arguing for or against a drug is ridiculous. There are side affects to nearly every drug. What is measured here, is the amount of profit, and the potential loss of profit from the side affects. The US government has attached so much stigma and BLATANT misinformation regarding Marijuana that it is absolutely absurd. Watch the idiocy and rhetoric of 'Reefer Madness' We should not have to 'prove' the less than significant 'negative externalities' of marijuana. The obligation should be on those that enforce their idiology on the masses. Prove to me that Marijuana is more dangerous than Alcohol, or any other plethora of commonly used drugs. Preconception and misconception shouldn't dictate what is law. --- Edit.... I often say to people... I'm a smoker... I'll puff on this cigarette, you suck on the tail pipe of your car. We'll see who dies first. Hypocracy at it's finest.
-
I have to admit I agree. Politics, religion, drugs... they're all inflamatory topics which most of us feel very strong about. It's generally a topic I try to avoid, but have a terrible time doing.

Naruto ROCKS! ps... LONG LIVE ADULT SWIM!
-
Yep... there are those idiots that do that. Until alcohol, cigarettes and other addictive over the counter drugs are removed, it is simple hypocracy. If I remember my constitution correctly... each state has a right to over rule the federal law. Catchy thing that! You might check out some of the laws in Idaho. God made weed, man made beer.

Now that's a good idea.. Gauge how we interpret aspect of importance within a story. I like it! I voted plot and thrill. If a plot can't keep my attention, regardless of the characters in it, I will not read it. If there is a great plot, and characters I hate... I will continue the read. It's like listening to Howard Stern. I can't stand the man, but.... I do stick around to hear what idiocy he spouts next.
-
This doesn't surprise me, but honestly... I have a thing about trusting people with thin lips. (silly 'eh?)
-
2000.... that's a lot. It's kind of hard to comprehend having 2000 separate thoughts put down in words in an untold number of topics. I's funny how you have hit 2000 posts as I have just recently hit my 200'th. And here I thought I was a gabby thing. Keep trucking Kitty. You always have the kindest things to say. Take care.

This is rich! How the righteous have fallen, and continue to fall, over and over again. Is it just me, or does anyone else marvel at the hypocrisy. It seems that those that scream the loudest for moral reform of one sort or another are often raging from someone elses bed.

Downloading the video as we speak Their music is good. Reminds me of Weazer, Blue October or Hawthorne Heights. I prefer a little more screaming in my music (most days), but this is good stuff! --- Edit Just finished watching the video... pretty cool!
